Yep, doesn't even make the top 10 at this point...

Definitely would have been Wizardry -- esp. since Lawson went #18. Of course w/ our #20 we still could have had Eric Maynor!![]()
Nah... Make that Collison. Then, instead of trading our high R2 pick for chump change, we could have traded down for 2 picks and gotten Danny Green and Patty Mills. And instead of...
I remember being aghast (if I can get that through the censors) that the trade with Minny didn't get us the 18th pick. At the time, I thought Lawson was the top PG in the class - oops. To be fair, I was ahead of the curve on Harden.

In my last PPA update (late last week), Wall was 12th among PGs in per minute production (minimum 500 minutes played). He was in a tight group with Bledsoe, Lillard, Jackson, Rondo and Evans (Tyreke might be more SG, though -- I'm just using b-r's position assignments). He's 7th in total production.

Seems reasonable. I think he is frustrated. It shows in his body language and comments to the press. I think he is frustrated with his play and with the teams play.
I think he would need to play like a top 5 PG in the second half of the season for us to have a shot at the playoffs.

He may need to play better than that. In December, his PPA was 202 and the Wizards went 8-8. A 202 for the full season would put him 4th behind Curry, Westbrook and Paul. If the Wizards are going to make the playoffs, I think they need Wall to play like a league MVP.

While Wall was playing as the 4th best PG, we were missing Beal, Nene and Hump, plus we were missing Gortat and Gooden for stretches. I think with Wall playing with a PPA of 202 and the rest of the team remaining reasonably healthy, against a weaker schedule, the team can play above .500.
I'm not sure it's enough to close the ground to the 8th seed, but I don't think it's quite as hopeless as Nivek's numbers make it seem.
