Do you guys have dreams about me?
Let's start from the beginning.
Yilmaz? When I said he is good, he was very good. He scored 9 goals in CL. He has been scoring in Turkish league 15+ goals past 6-7 years. Never said he is world class. All i said was he knows how to score and he can score 20+ goals in bundesliga and epl.

Ok fair enough, I don't remember all of the discussion about Yilmaz back in the day but since I can't prove otherwise I'll let you have this. Although that later claim can probably never be proven which is a shame.
DD12 wrote:Muslera? He is a top 5 GK in the world. I am just wondering how you guys make claims about a league when you never watch? How is that even possible? Ask anybody but literally anybody who watches Turkish League if muslera is at least top 10 gk in the world. You'll get your answer. You guys never watch our league so you dont know. Muslera won us 2 championships in last 4 years. Ask Batu who is a besiktas fan, ask Turco, ask anybody but anybody who follows Turkish league. Ask new guy i forgot his name, he is a fenerbahce fan. Ask on your facebook, ask your turkish friends. Everyone will tell you samething. No one can claim muslera is not top 10 gk in the world if they are actually watching the league.
I have a few questions regarding this. You say this and yet wasn't Turco/Batu going against Muslera being top 5? I'm pretty sure they were on the sane side regarding this, I need confirmation.
If he is as good as you say he is then how come none of the big teams ever went for him? Especially since you've been saying this for a few years now and he's still 28 right now, you'd think a team would want to invest in a young, top 5 GK in the world entering his prime.
Lastly, I'm pretty sure you don't watch the EPL, BuLi, Serie A, La Liga as much as A LOT of people here do apart from maybe the big games, CL or highlights so how can you say who is and isn't a top 5 GK? How would you know? All we're saying is that in order to be a top 5 GK you have to at least be in the top leagues to prove it, he needs better competition to prove this claim. If you watch Gala religiously, of course you're going to have more exposure to Muslera and hence he's top 5 to you, which is an opinion I'm ok with, but to consistently claim it despite the contrary is where you often get vilified on this and other things.

Gala matched up with Arsenal and Dortmund when we were in horrible form with a horrible coach. I even wrote on CL thread the same thing. First i was happy because i believed in Prandelli. But after his idiotic selections and decisions, I called it on the thread that we would suck. You guys dont even follow the thread and trolling here.
All I see here is excuses. You were talking some major smack talk about Gala battering Arsenal and Dortmund, and Yilmaz scoring 5 goals against Per (or something to that effect), at least man up to this.

Germany? Even Germans didn't give a single chance for them to win. They were creating bull about coach low. I was wrong on this for sure but it's not like you guys were thinking germans were going to win.
Doesn't matter if their fans or anybody wasn't thinking that Germany was gonna win, at the end of the day they're the World champions, something you said would never happen.

Ozil?? Haha i cracked up. Where were you when arsenal fans booed him? Now just because of he is good on this season, it makes him world class or something? He had only one good season in real madrid as well then fans booed him there too. So please.
Who the hell cares about Arsenal fans booing? Everybody in this country knows how most of them (even Arsenal fans) are spoilt and fickle those people are, all you have to do is watch the Arsenal TV post match crap. Same goes for most Real Marid fans, heck same goes for every football fan on this planet.
You're a finance guy right? You like numbers, so in his 3 years at RM he accumulated (in all competitions) 7 goals/23 assists, 6 goals/20 assists, 10 goals/17 assists. Yeah sure, he only had one good year at RM. Please.
DD12 wrote:Oh also Mario Gomez. He is awesome this year and it seems the guy is unstoppable. Good for him. Probably this is the only claim that i was very wrong in 3-4 years of realgm. But hey i am glad i am wrong. At least i can admit it. I have never seen some of you saying your opinion or making bold claims ever whatsoever. You guys are like 1 in multiplying numbers. No value, no effect in calculations at all. Just like that. You guys are here to talk about how sky is beautiful, how barca will destroy Alcante and how messi is great. You dont have to be genius to say these things. We all know it. I am here to talk about soccer and make predictions and claims about what i watch instead of attacking the ones who make claims without making a single claim by myself. My 3 years old nephew can do the same.
This is the first ever post I've ever seen you admit you were wrong despite the substantial evidence on some of your claims and I applaud that now, but don't come up and say "at least I can admit it" like you've been doing it this whole time.
That's because what else is there to say? Football is so wildly available that it's hard to have differing opinions on it without sounding like a complete idiot and even now some of the differing opinions are small and minute differences like you said. How are we supposed to make bold claims when the evidence is there to see otherwise, all it takes is a quick Google search or even just recording football matches on your TV. The evidence is there to be seen, not unlike before when all of this technology wasn't available.
For example, with your claims regarding Kondogbia being the 2nd best in Serie A, now I'm going to admit that I haven't seen much of him (not like he can get on the pitch anyway) but if you even watched even the highlights of the Serie A last year, you'd know that the midfields of Serie A is way more technical and tactical compared to Ligue 1 and despite him having all of the physical/technical traits to succeed. One of the reasons why he can't get on the pitch is because he doesn't have the tactical nous to even warrant any meaningful minutes. Now I hope he does learn because he's a huge talent, but the talent level between Ligue 1 and Serie A is big.
