Don't think there's any hate for Oladipo other than we have 3 people at his position and he can't play PG at all (in spurts, or backup, yes) as much as people keep saying it. He still has a high ceiling.

I want to see this lineup, if we're going to suck:

Payton
Hezonja
Gordon
Frye
Dedmon

(Just for **** and giggles, but I liked the dynamic that Payton and Dedmon had early in the season. I think Frye would stretch the floor for Hezonja a lot and Gordon would be all over the place).

Who are you keeping?

AG is a no brainer for me.
Hezonja is as well for now until we really know what we have.
Payton is almost untouchable for me but if we got a really enticing offer I'd consider it.

Who can be had for the right price?

Oladipo, I'd like to keep him but if it's a crazy good deal for us, I'd go for it.
Vuc, I think has a skillset that a lot of centers don't have, but I'm not sure how it fits on this team without moving players who I think have a way higher ceiling. For a good deal, I'd trade him but other than that I'd keep him.

Who do we need to move 100%?

Tobias. I used to love Tobes, but I'm not in love with his game anymore. I don't think he is doing enough out there to justify his contract, and he seems to have hit a ceiling unless we're going to put him in an entirely different role.

Fournier. I just don't like his game as of late. I think he needs to have the ball in his hands more but I don't trust him at all as of late, let somebody else overpay.

Nicholson. This one only because I don't think we're ever going to use him and I think he has value around the league.

Shabazz, obviously.

Frye is sort of in the Nicholson category for me. I know he does good things out there but there are other things I can't get over. I feel could be really effective on a team other than ours if we can't learn how to use him.

If were going to lose then yes, but our offense sucks with Payton right now. Did Play much better than Shabazz? Skiles was trying to open up our offense with Shabazz, so I don't mind him getting burn, it actually Makes sense. Teams are backing up and and packing the paint so our offense wil continue to suck. period.

When did the team fall apart against Boston? At the start of the 4th when Payton wasn't even on the floor. We had a "spacing" backcourt with Shabazz and Fournier and they got **** destroyed. Blaming Payton's weak jumpshot for our woes is simplistic rubbish.

Makes me wonder what Fournier will command in the market. He has cooled down significantly but I still imagine that he would get a nice payday. He is at least more valuable Terrence Ross.

Hey there,new here,first post,glad to be here

What lineup do you want to see for fun?

Honestly does not matter at this point, maybe some sort of high-pace lineup with harris as a 4 and gordon as 5,just to try, since we have nothing to lose.

Who are you keeping?

no one has a safe place for the right place, just hezonja cause is his first year in the league

Who do we need to move 100%?

Vucevic for sure, cause we can not go on with a 5 so weak defensively.
one between payton and oladipo, never believed that backcourt could be the perfect one for us

Harris don't know, guess with that contract we are not gonna receive something good in exchange

Lineup - Payton/HezonGOD/Harris/Gordon/Vuc

Keeping - Agree that no one is safe for the right price, but Hezonja/Gordon are near untouchable and I have a soft spot for Payton and his potential.

Move 100% - Unfortunately Dipo and Vucevic as the runner up.

We don't have a run and gun offense. We're 22nd in the league in pace, so it's actually the opposite. I'd like to see us run more since it fits the strengths of our roster, but instead, we keep relying on the half-court "motion offense."

That's on our players to run more. Furthermore, WE CANT SHOOT so we have to swing the ball side to side to get something going towards the basket.

We were blowing teams out just a month ago that we lose to now by double digits night in and night out. What a shame. I wish I knew who the culprits were. Funny that the whole chemistry of the team seemed to change after Dipo got moved to the bench. That's my personal observation, and I don't know what that observation could mean, but it appears to be related.

I do not know if it is his usual demeanor or not, but Skiles seems like the least engaged coach I've ever seen....almost like he is the one doing the tuning out.

You're right, but early in the season he was up off the bench defending his players and getting in the refs ears. It seems like he has tuned them out. Could this possibly turn into a one year hire?

The worst thing Hennigan can do is trade oladipo. If we have to trade one of our young players then I'd rather it be Payton. Dipo is finally showing a knack for getting to the ft line, hes or best defender in the wings hands down. Mario can keep coming off the bench.

I'm not blaming his lack of a jumpshot for all of our woes. I've said it a million times that our roster is unbalanced. Payton. Dipo, Harris. AG, Vooch provide very little spacing so teams are crowding the paint to take away or strength. I understand that Napier gets burned on defense, but the substitution made sense considering how stagnant our offense was. Was Payton going to win the game for us?

That said, as much as people dog Vooch for not being the "defensive center" we "need" and point to all the other teams as examples, it surprises me that nobody has pointed out that all of their PG's can FLUCKING SHOOT!!

If we're going to sit here and talk about what "the recipe" for being successful is then we need to look at all the players and not glance over the ones that you personally like pretending they're flawless.

My issue with Payton is that the way he plays, his offense is only good for himself because of his shot selection, and his non-offense is bad for others. I don't think he is particularly good at creating offense for others via HIS offense, like shots and drives, and his inability to create any offense is a hindrance on spacing and all of the other players on the court. So if his scoring doesn't do anything for the offense all together and him not scoring hurts them, he's almost always a negative on that end of the court.

Something I want to keep my eye on with him is how he gets assists and where that opportunity comes from. Penetration, pick and roll, ball movement, etc.

Couldn't agree more on Payton, he has the ball in his hands more often than he is looking to deliver the ball to our offensive playmakers. You bottle up his dribble and he inevitably turns it over or he pushes his way in the paint and gets himself trapped.

So what would you want in return for Harris from the Celtics? Is Lee, Dallas 2016 1st and Boston 2016 1st enough? Could put Sully in there instead of one of the 1st. Throw in Philly 2nd is needed.

Also wondering how Harris does defensively for you guys?

edit: Lee is just an expiring salary filler
