the score was 93:90 after Kemba hit a clutch jumper, 1:10 left on the clock, Miami possession
1, Bosh came out to set a screen for Wade, Wade drove left, MKG chasing, he did not blow by MKG, MKG has the length and quickness to stay with him, but Marvin retreated and tried to help, which was on the way of MKG and slowed down MKG, Zeller could not protect the rim on time, Wade got a tough bank shot... 93:92
2, Hornets possession, MKG came out a screen, Kemba gave the ball to MKG... No lane... Nic came out off screen, MKG to Nic hand off, Wade was ultra aggressive, poked the ball loose, Nic got back the ball, gave it up to Kemba, Kemba came off a nice screen from Zeller, got a clean last second jumper, did not go in..
3, Miami Heat possession, again, Bosh came out on top to set a screen for Wade, no advantage gained, still Marvin on Bosh, however, Bosh dribbled and drove by Marvin, Marvin could not stay with him...Zeller could not protect the rim on time, Bosh got an and1... 93:95
4, Hornets trailed by two, 23 seconds left, Hornets called timeout, clifford was drawing a play.... on the other side, Josh McRoberts seemed to know what was coming, was talking to his teammates how to defend

... the Hornets play is so predictable, Kemba inbound to Batum, Batum hand off to Kemba, let Kemba operate, Zeller came out to set a meaningless screen since Kemba has dribbled away, both Wade and Whiteside were in position to prevent Kemba's drive, Nic came off screen with, Kemba tried a bounce pass went away, turnover...
5, The hornets had to foul to stop the clock, Deng hit 1 out of 2, hornets trailed by 3 with 11 seconds left, one possession game, still got a chance to tie the game.... Time out, hornets
the hornets had no timeout left, needed to inbound the ball... they had a hard time to inbound the ball, the heats' pass rush

was good, seemed no receiver open, Marvin barely received the ball before the 5 seconds violation, it seems the drawn play was broken already... kemba came out to get the ball, Wade's quick hand poked away another hand off, another TO... basically game over...
First, you got to give heats credit, particularly Mr. quick hand Wade.....but the hornets' end of game execution is so bad...I love coach clifford, but his end of game plays are so predictable... i bet Josh McRoberts knows all of them...
how about simplify the play a little bit, once Kemba got the ball, just clear the side, everybody retreats to the baseline, let Kemba Iso or Zeller comes back to set a top screen for Kemba... let him have space and lane to operate...
for inbounding the balls, this is not the first time Hornets had a hard time to inbound the ball... how about set multiple screens to free a receiver to secure the ball first, you have 11 seconds left to operate, it really should not be that hard to inbound a ball...
