Seriously, it should go to Kemba. 20PPG on a team at .500, carried team thru injuries, career best in TS%.
Other candidates:
Kyrie Irving - missed half the season, Kemba has better stats across the board, except FG%.
Reggie Jackson - Detroit already has Drummond. Does Detriot deserve 2 All-stars while Charlotte gets 0? Reggie and Kemba have similar stats. Kemba with more points, rebounds, steals; Jackson with more assists, better FG%.
Pao Gasol - 17/11, would give Bulls a representative in lieu of Butler.
Nik Vucevic - 17/9, hard to make a case for Nik over Gasol, especially with Magic struggling so badly recently.
Nic Batum - the toe injury killed his chances, dropped his PPG and FG% down. Kemba more deserving so far.
Hassan Whiteside - 12/11/4, do the Heat deserve 3 All-Stars? Hard to argue his case when Heat are typically better with him off floor.
I don't agree with anyone from Bucks, Nets or Sixers getting in due to record. Simply not good enough. That rules out Giannis, Monroe, Middleton, and Lopez.
i think it would be either Kemba or Pau…Detroits has had Drummond in already..
Pau/Kemba 51/49
