I am pretty sure you could just give us K-Mart, and we would be happy.

You would be happy :)

Even before he got worse this year I don't think the perimeter needs more Iso/bad d personally

How available would Collison be?

Probably easier to do business in the off season after we know about Rondo or someone else first.

Unless it is a homerun move, I'd keep DC out of any potential trades this week. Too many questions at PG with too few potential options available this summer. DC will be both PG insurance and a potentially valuable trade piece for teams looking for a PG.

I don't like Shumpert, because despite playing on a far better team, Shumpert has managed a -10 net RTG, just like Ben McLemore and Belinelli and Kevin Martin.

With the news that Vlade is most likely to help find a new GM in the off season, it makes me wonder if we stand pat on deals this deadline.

Not just that, but with a lame duck coach situation it's tough to gauge which players need to be here

I certainly see nothing major, like Gay or anything. If they can get value for Ben or a periphery player they might

Some guy on Reddit was rumoring Gay for Oladipo. Now that Orlando moved Harris for Jennings and Ersan that rumor at least sounds a bit credible.

I think part of the reason they moved Harris because of his ISO style/D/not stretching the floor adequately. Oladipo is an interesting young player, and it sounds like they might be committed to Fournier more if you go by rumor

If the Kings trade Gay for Oladipo, I really hope there is a follow up MacLemore+ deal for Ryan Anderson because we are going to need to replace some big points from the forward positions.

I think dipo can replace enough points in an effective way. I'd rather with dipo/WCS/DMC go the defensive route and sign Barnes. Barnes/Dipo would replace Gay/Ben in scoring while playing better defense and team basketball.

Odds are that nobody the Kings would conceivably get will replace Rudy's iso scoring ability. A deal for Oladipo would be a nice return though.

It's interesting to see that story come out about Anderson being a target for the Kings and Pistons in the summer. Sounds like the Kings putting pressure on NO to trade him now. I'm not sure about a Gay for Anderson swap though. I like the idea of Anderson but this team needs some defenders first, that's become obviously clear.

I don't see how we (or any other team) could possibly sign Barnes this summer. He's a key piece of their success, he's going to be a RFA with Bird Rights, and his cap hit will only be $9.6M until he signs another deal. GSW will just waive Jason Thompson (his $7M cap hit would go down to under $3M) and they'd be roughly $14M under the cap. With no other moves, add in Barnes' cap hit and they're still $5M under the cap until he signs a new deal. Even after he signs a fat new deal with GS, they'd still have some wiggle room before the tax kicks in. GS is planning on losing Iggy to age/expiring contract after the 16-17 season, I don't see how they can also walk away from Barnes when keeping him would be so easy.

The only way Harrison Barnes is going anywhere now is if he gets offered Max money that the Warriors don't want to be on the hook for in 3-4 years... or if he is sent out in a S&T for a superstar, like the oft speculated "Durrant to Golden State" nightmare scenario that has been circulating. The Warriors have plenty of space to eat whatever Barnes' contract is next season, so other than a Max offer that GS doesn't want to pay to what will be their 4th best player in a few years, I don't see how the Kings have a shot.

I dont know if anyone has said this previously, but I heard yesterday on ESPN radio Ryan Anderson was making it clear to teams interested in trading for him that he plans on exploring FA. If so I highly doubt he's traded

Why would we worry about signing Barnes when we have two good small forwards now? Other positions I think will take precedence

He's a decent expiring in the least. I'm sure a playoff team somewhere would want him. And who wouldn't expect him to explore FA? That article said he might get 20 mil a year. If NO has no intentions of keeping him then they should look at getting something for him.

The nice thing about getting Ryno now is that his cap hit is only something like $12M this summer, at least until he signs a new deal. Even if he does cost significantly more than that, only $12M need be applied to the cap while the rest of the money can still be used in Free Agency, then you can sign him to a figure over the cap using his Bird Rights. Those Bird rights could allow you to sign an additional role player.

Anderson is going to want to start, we already have a starting PF (WCS)

I don't think WCS needs to be a starter. In fact, I think off the bench if they moved Koufos means much more PT for him at both PF and C. WCS, Anderson, and Cuz is way more complimentary than WCS, Koufos, and Cuz. His ability to defend both PF and C makes him an ultimate utility guy off the bench IMO.

Sad to see Courtney Lee was so available, he was one of the role SG I liked the most for us.

This "rumor" copied from a quote in Kingsfans:

Carlos Douglas Jr.
@TheRealC_Los
Source: #Bulls have offered Nikola Mirotic, Tony Snell, Joakim Noah's expiring deal & 1st rounder to #Kings for Rudy Gay & Ben McLemore.

Too good to be true.
