We are in everything still and he has built a good defence so he deserves credit and patience. Yet I don't like the football we play.

Happend in Porto too.

But at the end, he won two championships for us with the record of 60 games (Portugueses league) in two seasons.

1 Loss.

He's a winner.

I will take your word for it. I don't have to like the football if we win. Also, we had a manager named Aykut Kocaman some time ago and his football killed my soul, so I can handle this. :D

Aren't Gala fans always saying that Fener are fixing matches?

Looking at that last penalty for Gala they surely paid Deniz Bitnel well. :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2:

We aren't the only ones. UEFA also said the same thing and banned them 2 years from Europe.

learn before you troll if your brain capacity allows it, of course.

You really really have to stop with the personal insults. Joking or not, that stuff isn't going to fly around here.

Talk football, and leave the insults out of it.

And what just happened yesterday is not match fixing? I mean you only have to take a look at that last penalty to realize refs had their money on Gala.

The best part here is the last red card - pure gold  Salih Dursun giving Red Card to Referee.

It is literally a torture to talk to you. Seriously.

Just look at their penalty. What money what match fixing? He is just a horrible referee that's it.

He realized at half-time that he gave a wrong penalty to Trabzonspor and he tried to make up for it in the second half. All big teams in Turkey get this kind of favorable treatment. The problem is that things got out of control this time. It's not match fixing. It's just really bad refereeing and evidence of a rotten football culture.

Galatasaray is banned from Europe for a year by UEFA because of FFP.

Then the ban would get postponed. Apparently, If they don't qualify next year either, it's cancelled.

I think they will do all they can to qualify for the Europa League so they get kicked out of that instead of possibly the Champions League next year.

You think they are gonna qualify for CL next year?
From everything I have heard they have no money whatsoever available to buy new players and issues with paying salaries as well.
And they certainly going to need a couple new players if they want to qualify for UCL. You aint qualifiying with freaking Umut Bulut as your "top striker" even in the Süper Lig.

Everything is possible in Turkey because the balance of power between the big teams can change very quickly. In the past they have won the league in years where they have had no money and terrible teams made up of mostly Turkish players. They used to accuse Fenerbahce of foreigner worship, star chasing, and having no Turkish spirit in those years, but as soon as they had the chance they signed Sneijder and Drogba and ended up getting banned.

Of course our President and fans do very hypocritical things as well so it goes both ways.

To really answer your question, if they can sell Muslera, Sneijder, and Podolski for Chinese prices, they can build a team good enough to win the league with players that are good fits to be successful in Turkey using just like half of the money. It's unlikely but possible.

Only player we wont sell is Muslera. If they do, good luck to board members for protecting their and their loved ones lives.

Also we had Semih, selcuk, burak etc as of our core. Yes we got drogba and sneijder but we also had a lot of real good turkish players. When there was 4-5 allowed foreigners, fener used to play 5 foreigner and 5 Turkish players who were raised in Germany or Belgium or Austria such as Serhat Akin, Ali Gunes etc. lol

Isn't Gala completely falling apart right now financially because they had some sort of investor that financed Drogba, Sneijder, etc. but quickly jumped off the ship once it got clear they are not going to have success in UCL for more than a year or two with those guys?

I think I read that somewhere.

Not an investor. They just had a president who spent too much and then left. Teams in Turkey are always taking loans from banks to spend money ahead of time. These rich guys get elected, ruin the teams' finances and then leave. It happened to Besiktas too. And it can happen to us as well.

Let's wait and see. Maybe they manage to sign Gomez to be their striker, and can get Leicester to sell them Huth.
