Getting huge production from Morris, as Gortat snagged 20 rebounds bodes well.
They've won seven of ten. Fresh bodies and good team chemistry might allow the Wizards to sustain playing .700 pace throughout the season.
Twenty-three games remaining would give them sixteen wins, and an Ernie-special, 45-win season.
Its refreshing to see such optimism, as I am not optimistic regarding this years team as it is constructed.
They did well against a weak team. I cant see the Wizards sustain this win-ratio. We have some better than average teams left to play.
If we do get to keep our pick from the Moris trade (seems like the magic 45-wins may get us there), and we can attribute some of our winning to Morris' influence, I will eat crow, as I have not been in favor of this trade at all.
Anyway, optimism...its a good thing.
