He selected Bargs over LMA. Ross over Drummond. Traded Hibbert for Oneal. The only two picks he hit on really are Derozen and Jonas. Drafted TJ Tucker over Paul Millasp. Traded Goran Dragic for Giorgos Printezis
Two picks over the course of six seasons is not a great drafter. Hinkie has hit on pretty all his first round picks with the exception of Embiid which could still work out.
He doesn't have an Andrea Bargs in his resume. He also doesn't have the record of god awful trades and signings either. Hedo, Kleiza, Peja (trade), Oneal (trade), Landry, Jorge Garbajosa, Fred Jones, and he tried to trade for Steve Nash and move Lowry.
I generally agree with you, but to be fair, many GMs missed out on Drummond and Millsap. That being said, selecting Bargnani and trading away the pick that became Hibbert was bad. No excuses there.
Colangelo unintentionally laid the foundation for what the Raptors are today, but I have to stress unintentionally.
I hope for the best. As a Raps fan, I really want to see a successful 76ers team again!
