Hezonja!

19 points, 7 assists and 5 steals in 39 minutes with only 2 TO gets the job done, IMO.

Mario is going to be a hell of a player. The more time he gets, the more he improves. He is a quick learner and can already do so much. His playmaking ability is great. He is a born point forward. Great game by him. The hustle, energy and heart of Dedmon made this game. When you put players out there that want to play and win, you increase your chances. Love his energy.

Shoutout to Ily for smoking his team. Had a helluva game too. Way to step up.

with mario im backing off the klay Thompson comp, he's more hedo 2.0 than anything right now which isn't bad by any stretch. If mario tightens up his handle he really could play point forward for us much like hedo did.

I voted for Mario, although I'm overall impressed with abundance of our defensive stats. So many blocks and steals happen very rarely. Our center combo was all over the place.

Mario gets this one by a landslide but Dedmon, Elf and even Ersan had very good games.

But Hezonja was a beast tonight on both ends of the floor. Very active, very scrappy, loads of confidence with his shot.

There were a few impressive games by many players. Dedmon's energy on both end of the court is just a breath of fresh air. Gotta love a person that gives 100% at all times and it seems to become contagious! Elf over the last few weeks has just been a ninja... slicing and dicing defenses... Pick up even more on the defensive end of the court to add with what he putting together on the offensive end and I would be greatly Satisfied with him manning the point for us for years to come. Ily....kinda dedmonish with his activity level... just kept on making himself available by constantly moving!

But at the end of the day.... this one goes to Super Mario in my book! The guy had a great game on both ends of the courts in all aspects. Man/help defense..... shooting/passing the ball. He definitely showed his potential to be an all around talent. And his demeanor on the court.... it's obvious that he is becoming more confident in his game!

Great job guys!! Let's get this last "W" and keep riding this chariot into next season!

I missed the game - Who did Mario/Evan & Ersan match up against? Looks like Smith swapped Center with Dedmon.

First off - Great to see the game starting to click for Mario. It's going to be hard to keep him off the court if he can play defense, facilitate and shoot the ball. At 6-9 you have to start to wonder when he overcomes anyone at the 2 position, possibly 3 if Gordon moves full time to the 4. That trio of Oladipo/Evan/Hezonja, coupled with contracts is going to create some challenges for management to figure out. What a good problem to have really.

One bright spot for me looking at the stats was Ersan. Getting traded, learning a new system, health and now his first game getting this much burn as as starter opened my eyes a little. He's 28 years old can shoot the 3 and apparently blocked 3 shots last night. It makes you wonder if there's more to him than what the stats have shown. Would a full training camp, a starting position at the 4(in his prime) not be worth looking at? I looked back on his seasonal stat's only but it appears that whenever he had atleast 10 touches a game he had his best statistical seasons. Honestly don't know without looking into things deeper and the surrounding players he had but it's makes me wonder if he isn't better than he's shown and the right situation could help him blossom for a few years. Allowing Aaron to play the 3(moving to the 4 later) and then you have the challenge of who to play at the 2/back up 3 between the trio I mentioned above.

What did everyone see in Ersan this game and is there more potential there?

Mario was mostly on Khris Middleton defensively & offensively, AFAIK, Middleton only scored 6 points out of 7 shots while being guarded by Mario while Mario dropped 13 on him. He was also on Giannis 3 times defensively and Giannis didn't score once but it's not surprising him cause he guarded Giannis very well few weeks ago when we played in Milwaukee.

Ersan was paired with Parker. They both leaked defensively but both of them were playing well offensively.
