I promise you D Will will opt out and will promptly bump this thread when he does @knickstape. Role players care about security more than anything. D Will will try to get a multi year deal somewhere and hopefully we can affordably retain him. You might have a point with Jennings but I can very well see him signing a multi year deal as well.
So Phil Jackson is a failure is what you are saying. No one is coming here according to you?
I'm not exactly Phil's biggest fan, but I wouldn't deem him a failure because he couldn't draw 3 stars in better situations to come play here. Phil will get more role players he thinks fits the system as he tries to build a winning culture.

Been hearing too much of Gerald Henderson's name today.
If we actually sign him, then there really is no hope for Phil.

You know thats where we are heading...
We have the triangle to elevate him into being a great player

Go almost a full season with Grant being dogged by coaches and now he gets time because vets want to rest dem fannies. total bs
the way grant was handled this year is why i cannot stand jackson in a nutshell
Grant is a natural pick and roll guard. everyone and their mama can see that. a quality pick and roll guard in the nba can be like gold if you use them right. but these a-holes were benching this kid all season long for freelancing and not being a triangle drone. seriously fuq them. fuq phil and his loyal triangle slaves and the horses they rode in on

The problem is guys like that, that are actually really good (to the degree the Knicks need them to be), don't grown on trees and would be near impossible to get.

I think some outsiders who don't watch the games like you might underestimate our players in general but Bazemore is a solid player. More talented than Carroll with more potential. Not the team offensive or defensive player Carroll was. Far more of a SG than a SF. Hard worker. Fits any system. 3 and d player. If we don't keep him, it is far more to with our need for a starting SF with size than his ability. His fit is good but we need more size at that position. He is definitely someone we would like to bring back if we can't get the SFs we covet.AmazingJason wrote:JayKnicKz11 wrote:You know thats where we are heading...

I doubt the triangle will elevate him. I think he will stay fairly the same type of player he is. Might improve his skills with continued development but I don't see a big improvement per say.
My thing with your team is you need a PG. Not sure Rondo is a good fit but he might be the best available. How do you approach that?
