For the most part, before the copying and pasting, he was careful to keep the milellie111 persona pretty concise and focused on defending Ernie and Ted.
I'm skeptical that anyone would copy and paste a hands11 post other than hands11.It is interesting that we still have a range of views on this. Looks like we'll need to crank up the investigation.
JStylo is an open source textual analysis tool that can be used for author attribution. I don't know when I might have time, but you could presumably load hands11 and milellie111 posts into it and it would give you some useful information.
That is because a lot of people didn't agree with Hands on several things.....until Millie showed up.
Hands would go from one thing to another in his posts in a pretty unconscious way. He also avoided ever making any particular prediction, because he didn't want to take the chance of being wrong. If he did make it clear that he thought something (e.g. that he disliked Oubre as our pick last June), he wouldn't own it when it was mentioned. Millie didn't care if he could be found wrong easily. He just coasted past it.
This points to the real difference: Millie liked to provoke; he wanted to provoke. Hands was altogether different -- much more on the defense. He was always surprised if people didn't see things his way.
One other clear difference: Millie always defended Randy; he was "pro" everything. Hands was very "anti" Randy.
They weren't alike, in other words, not in any way except being in Ernie's camp. Now, of course, it's always possible that a single person created these 2 personae and posted for both of them. But, you could say that about any 2 people here. Somebody capable of doing that and carrying through and being consistent and active for both of them could also create any 2 other people here. I don't take that idea seriously.
