Disagree somewhat with this statement
The end game of this horrible section (I really don't like writing it but it has to be said) is to say that for KCP to really fulfill his offensive potential, he needs to improve his shot selection. His overall FG percentage of 42 percent isn't bad for a jumpshot heavy wing, but it is really dragged down by his long ball. His midrange game is actually respectable, going an incredible 47.6 percent in the 10-16 feet range, and 39.6 percent from 16 feet to the three point line. However, only 27 percent of his looks came from that range, and despite showing a penchant for a nice one dribble pull up mid range shot, he was quick to pull the trigger.
KCP AT LEAST 1 time per game was forced into hoisting a 3 because RJ ran the clock all the way down. I maybe over exaggerating but RJ did it enough that i believe it impacted his overall attempts number over teh course of the season.
He had questionable shots throughout the season but never to the point where i thought he needed to stop or consistently. My frustration with KCP was that he missed the shots he should have made, not that he didn't take good shots .
I am not saying that he doesn't need to improve his shot selection , as everyone does, i am saying if he can make the shots that he's capable of making , his "other poor shots" aren't nearly as glaring and probably right on average with every other SG .
