Lue can still probably hedge his bets by benching him and saying something like "a player's life is more important than a game" or something like that, then play him spot minutes in lineups where he can't be exposed all that much on D, or one where they just need to get the offense going to maintain a lead against the bench.
That way they can defer the decision on him. At this point, does getting a couple 3 and D wings plus a PF that's good on D to back-up LeBron's minutes there be a win for the Cavs?
