Not trying to defend McCollum in full here, but his efficiency is above average, which is great given his volume and how much he creates for himself.
OK, his efficiency is just slightly above average (TS% of .544 this season, .540 for his career). Not anything special though. The guy is a great 3 point shooter, but he doesn't get to the line enough to be very efficient on offense.
Plus he is short for a SG, and his length is poor (6'6" wingspan, 8' standing reach). He doesn't defend well, probably for that reason.
Overall he's a nice player to have, but I don't want to build around him. Of course if the price is right I'd be happy to have him, but I don't think he is worth Noel.
