If you have time, at least read this through until the 5th page. I still have to contain my laughter every time I go back to it

i don't know the icebelly references

During one of Bruno's first games, someone asked him how nervous he was. He said it was like ice being in his belly.

The Amazing Ha thread was pretty good

I almost forgot about that - my anger is renewed. I was legitimately pissed off when the site was revamped and that thread was erased from existence. Literally like tearing down Machu Picchu so you can build a Home Depot except way worse.

That was me. I met Kevin O'Neil and Leo Rautins as well and an interesting scenario took place.

When this hater on this thread today said and I quote "LeBron just isn't that good." Granted he was an obvious troll and LeBron hater, but it still cracked me up.

On this, if Westbrook was to get MVP would this be the first time that team mates have earned MVP honours in consecutive years? If not what team mates have done this?

Nope, I forget but the Celtics I believe had 2 (Russell and someone?) and I think the Sixers.

Thanks mate. Just checked it and yes first done in the early days by Cousy and Russell in 57 and 58. Bucks had Alcindor and Jabbar in 71 and 72. That's it, so this would be one hell of a feat by this team if they pulled it off.

Now the real test, Celtics won both 57 and 58 finals. Bucks won 71 finals. If Westbrook wins MVP honours and OKC don't win the finals they will be the first team to have consecutive MVP winners and not win a final and they can be considered the greatest chokers of all time. /green font.

A minute ago in another thread someone said "Carmelo Anthony and Porzingis are as good as(if not better) than Paul George."

I thought that was quite humorous.

There was one I read that was on the Lakers forum of a fictional story of Phil Jackson having an one-night fling with some random girl in a club while staving off his daily worship of Kobe Bryant. I might not be stating the story correctly, but some of the frequents on the Lakers forum may be able to describe it better and ultimately find it...

The, "MS Paint-A-NBA Headlines" posts had some of the funniest content I've ever seen on here.

This was a long, long time ago but I vaguely remember someone proposing 3 way NBA Basketball. The OP mapped out how the courts would look and everything. I was literally cry/yell laughing at that entire thread. I wish I could dig it up but it's nearly impossible using Google.

The, "Is Ibaka the Sexiest Player In The NBA" Thread and "Outdoor Games/Assfault" were also legendary threads.

"Guaranteed Championship: The Shaq / Boykins offence" http://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=855808
Raps Fan proposes to trade Bosh for Shaq/Earl Boykins and hilarity ensues...

Infernoskull
Play B: Give boykins the ball, have shaq literally throw boykins from the three point line, over defenders and in for the dunk.. now this play has its flaws, obviously, the main one being boykins would most likely get injured on the landing, but this is for end of game situations or emergencies, and we would use this sparingly.
