In this point in time with Riley getting older and Wade's play on the decline, will the HEAT survive without Hassan? All teams have cap space so it's an level playing field now. I hope for the best and that he's here in Miami long term, considering I'm going to be in Miami a lot in the coming years so I would love to continue to see him dominate in a HEAT uniform.
No doubt we will survive without Hassan. We get the ability to use the cap space to go after other FAs & then get even more next year. I he does leave, we might end returning mostly the same line-up with a stop-gap C, or two. But we will be fine.
Maybe we become first round fodder next year, then head into the 2017 FA bonanza with 2 max slots. Wade will be willing to take a big cut, because we just gave him a huge 1-year contract.
The future is fine, clarity on Bosh is more important to the FA market for us than Hassan. And I love Hassan & don't want to see him anywhere else.
