Unless they traded down for multiple assets then they're idiotic. It's a two man draft and unless they plan on making a trade for an all star player then missing our on a franchise changing player
Does everyone think trading down from 2 to say 5-6, where Hield is likely to fall, is as easy as picking up the phone?
There's this cognitive disconnect among fans that deals are just sitting out there ready to be made for the Lakers, and all Mitch and Jim have to do is say yes...
Obviously, there are deals out there for us, but most smart fans would lose their **** if we actually accepted the crap being offered...
Sure we could trade the 2 for someone at the end of the lottery but trading down 2 or 3 spots is much more difficult, don't you think?
