Yeah, have no idea how anyone can want Hield over him. Hield has a chance to make as much of an impact off the bat, but in the long run, Murray will almost certainly be the better player.
Did you not watch them play? Anyone who picks Murray over Hield is ASSUMING he is going to be better because at the same age.......but that isn't a guarantee. Just Because someone is better at a certain age doesn't mean they will be better at a latter age. That is a gamble..........Hield equals a bird in the hand. Why is that hard to understand?

Quinn (New York, NY)
How does your projection system rate guys who see a big improvement in stats from one year to the next, such as Buddy?
Kevin Pelton (4:20 PM)
Historically, that has not been a good indicator that they are likely to play like the improved year going forward.

I was thinking that meant a twitter chat (almost just typed chitter tw...)...anyway I guess it was a link to a FB video that I think we already had the transcript from posted earlier.
JMac1 wrote:So you are saying Austin performed like Buddy did? Buddy is a baller, if you don't want to pick him cool, but to down play him and up play "potential" guys, that's nonsense.
Yea, Buddy is going to forget how to shoot when he gets to the NBA. I am so tired of seeing open shooters brick threes all the time (PJ) and then watch Curry and Klay do what NBA shooters are supposed to do and we act like OMG they are the greatest since slice bread and no one will be able to shoot like that. Buddy can!
saintEscaton wrote:Buddy has the slight edge in off the bounce/ creating abilities, athleticism and is considerably longer/taller standing reach, so I think he has the protoypical attributes to be an NBA 2. Buddy has the chance to be an average defender whereas Murray may always be a sieve. don't think Murray is a Korver tier pure shooter and his low release point needs to be reworked if he wants to get his shot off , his piss poor measurables really limit his upside despite age being in his favor

I agree when viewing them both as 2 guard prospects. The question with Murray is could he be a point in the NBA. His numbers in college would say it's unlikely he could be a point but he also wasn't asked to be the point so it's not a forgone conclusion that he can't. With that said if the suns are drafting someone as a future pg they might as well take Dunn.
What player were the Suns interviewing at lunch today?
No, black guy about 6'8"

I think that is Chriss....this is interesting.

Yea and a lot of people expected that Jimmer Fredette would be a player in the NBA because he could shot so well. Well I guess being All NBA D-League second is something to brag about.
And a lot of people said the same about Curry and CJ that they are saying about Buddy. So never pick a senior stud player again because of Jimmer![]()
And lets ignore all of the young guys who came into the league with high projections and failed miserably. I don't roll that way. i take every circumstance on its own individual merits......I am dumb that way.
