Huge fan.. and i dont see any of that potential in Crabbe who is a solid player tho

He are a few numbers

Height and Weight, the same for both

Primarily shooters and dont contribute in other stats

Houstons 1st Knick season PER 11.6
Crabbe 12.3 this season

Houston TS% 0.53 (0.57) Carreer high
Crabbe TS% 0.58 this pass season

Houston 1st Knick season 38.5 % 3pt
Crabbe 39.8\% this season

Obviously houston got better but his Career high PER was only 17.6 and had a Career PER 14.9

I dont think those numbers are unattainable long term and Crabbe has already shown glimpses of that potential, he also has a Playoff PER of 13.1

Neither did Kyrie Irving in Duke, but look at where he is now. Let other teams keep looking down on him. If we can get a late 1st/early 2nd round pick, we have to pick him.

Kyrie had a toe injury and, IIRC, could have returned but chose not to because he had the #1 pick locked up. LeVert played in 33 games the final two years and had 3 surgeries on the same foot (one came from a Jones fracture). They are not the same at all.

I think Philly wants Ingram and Dunn

I think it might be Simmons & Hield. Gives them better balance and floor spacing.

Bembry and McCaw have WAY better playmaking skills. Also, Bembry doesn't jab step 10x before making a move...every single time

Who's everyone's bust predictions?

Hahah John Salmons that's a good one. I've watched close to 80 percent of Bembrya college games there's no way he's John Salmons. To me the best comparison is Evan Turner. Versatile big guard who isn't necessarily a shooter but is crafty in the mid range and near the basket. I do think Bembry can develop a jumper though because his form isn't as awkward as ETs.

McCaw is more raw than Bembry but he might have a little bit more potential. Might take him a little longer to adapt to the NBA game as sometimes it seems the college game moved too fast for him.

Yeah your right about Bembry and McCaw skill set... definitely better play makers and defenders than Salmons and Ross...

Bembry, I believe will be a cross between Andre Iguodala (GSW) and Turner... he actually measures out to the same exact size as A.I when he came out of Arizona.

McCaw, only 20, can really shoot the ball with range and his long wingspan helps him create alot of turnovers on D... I believe he is better than Malik Beasley.
Just needs NBA strength and conditioning..

For balance in our lineup, they currently play both sides of the ball... got to love that.

Would love either or (especially Bembry) plus a speedy PG to push J.Grant maybe Cat Barber/ or another SF....

But getting both Bembry and McCaw would be awesome!

That is actually a bad team as far as floor spacing. Only one player can actually knock down perimeter jumpers, Hield. Smith is a guard that likes to get to the basket, Simmons can't shoot and is a slasher, Noel has limited range to about 15 feet, Embiid is a post player who is a question mark to even play again next year. If you pack the paint on that team, they will clank away.

Also, no way should Hield be a top 3 pick. I have Murray, Brown and Dunn above him on the draft board. But we are talking about Philly here so who knows what they are thinking.

BETTER spacing than what they have now (but that's not saying much about the 76'ers  ).

Anyway, Hield gives them the shooter they need, and Simmons gives them the wing passing they need. I'd play Simmons at PF too, but Noels currently occupies that spot. Spots 1-3 having passing, and scoring. Spots 4 & 5 are the Defensive anchors.

Ingram might be the better choice for the 76'ers there, but I doubt they pass up Simmons after 3 straight Lotto Drafts of passing up the guy who was valued higher (Lakers did the same thing too).

It's not ideal by any means, but it's a step in the right direction for the 76'ers (aka the PF/C version of David Kahn's T'Wolves  ).

It really is incredible how quiet and secretive we have been through this process. I bet we have assistant coaches in place already also, we just don't know who yet. As a Knicks fan I hate it, but as an NBA fan I love it.

This is turning to another trade Melo thread. How many time does Melo and even Phil have to tell you that we have the best front court? Are you that thick? trade Melo in a weak draft? come on! do you think even Lebron can win with the worst backcourt and a coach who has never coached a day in his life? you are smart than that. Dolan has invested 200m guaranteed contract in Melo. He still led the team in points, rebs and assists. He has NTC and Lin is not coming back and this is Melos team. If you can not root for the knicks go the nets board and wait for lin over there
