Both of these dudes lead by example instead of being vocal visible leaders; both dudes took on a bit of fan blame when stars didn't come running; both are supremely talented but victims of greater expectations; and both are fairly loved but have a loud contingent that takes issue with them as well (which is partially inspired by the media). Then there's the health issues and questions about whether their franchises are better off without them...

I could see these two motivating each other through shared experience. I think we could have two of the most talented cats in the league with that type of hunger.

They do seem really similar that way and they are both at that point in there career where they just want to win. Adding someone like Noah would be perfect, not only for his defense, but to also have that vocal leader on the floor as well. He would bring a nice balance and glue for on and off the floor

I agree 1000%. When I got all of the details of the deal- I looked at it as win win for us. I really didn't even think about
the Rose impact aspect of it. However, after listen to Rose speak and everything else that you guys mentioned. I think Rose
is going to have a great year. He's made me a fan- he seems genuine...

Only thing Calderon was good for was the facial expressions when he made a bad play or didn't get a call. It happened often.

I don't know what the Bulls front office is smoking. Maybe it will take something like this to get rid of those haunted Jordan years

For the type of offense the Bulls want to run, Grant should be the starter.

be prepared to see a lot of this. rose loves push ahead and is a monster in transition. his court vision & passing are heavily underrated imo

rose 2 melo?

easy buckets for kp, rose consistently draws double & triple teams, still

Bulls tank is good news. That second round pick going to be decent.

We never had anybody to take advantage of the open driving lanes when we play KP at 5.

Rose has never played extended minutes with a 5 who could play away from the paint.

Yeah that's really the only thing that can derail this. He's got to stay healthy.

Even if Rose isn't healthy we theoretically get a good pick in PG heavy draft class, and get a dawg to grow with KP (hopefully). And if Rose is health(ier) we get a guy who can contribute now. The only thing that can f*ck us up is if we barely miss the playoffs and get a middle of the pack pick

remember when everyone said Curry will never be healthy. I really feel like last season and this off season Rose finally got the opportunity to just heal instead of rushing back and worrying about Butler taking his spot/shine. I think we will be very surprised. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy.

And like some have pointed out, if it doesn't work. So what. Westbrook and CP3 are available next year and we have our draft pick in a deep draft.

But I followed Rose his entire career, this guy is a pure dog and will fight every minute to prove to us he wants to stay here. He doesn't like to bounce around.

Nah. I glanced at something (maybe on IG?), but it wasn't on twitter - only used that really for the NBA Draft and to complain. I actually follow some of the guys here on realgm on twitter, but I'm not sure they know (besides AHF and a few others, who I know they know) 8-)

Evan Turner would be a really solid choice to backup Rose.

He's excellent off the bench running an offense and he's a capable starter for when Rose is rested or is out for a few games (which, let's be realistic is inevitable). He can also play three positions so he can be on the floor with rose as well. He's also a good defender: http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/202323/tracking/defense/?Season=2015-16&SeasonType=Regular%20Season

He's not a three point shooter but for 7-9 million, I think he would be a solid pick up.

I thought they didn't like each other?

He's not a PG, by the way. He can run the offense, but that doesn't make you a point. If he's starting for us, we're **** (unless we pulled KD).
