The most respected draft site online.
One of the ONLY one's who has most of the market share doesn't mean the most respected. That would be like saying Walmart is the most respected store. I have read MANY scouting reports on that site that the average RealGM poster could probably have done better than.
They are pretty much the top draft site on the internet, its not at all like that. But hey, random reddit guy = reliable, OK.

Yeah, I'd like to see this too. Remember that everyone else in the book must have actually gone to Harvard and it has to be a good enough fake to be convincing in a video.
You've got about 55 minutes left.

What? Rubbish. When does "several teams" become the majority? Several teams could mean 2, 3 or 4. When there's 30 NBA teams in the league, that is NOT a majority. Also there is 0 evidence that "NBA scouts/front offices determining that his true age was 21-23". All that tweet from SI said is that a few teams ruled him out because of "age". Which could mean anything. It could just mean they had concerns over his age, or even that they just couldn't get as much evidence as they wanted.
Jake Fischer never said that his "multiple sources" who believed that Thon was 21-23 were infact NBA teams. He could even just be referring to those Reddit posts.bondom34 wrote:ClipsFanSince98 wrote:

Draftexpress the best draft site? Rubbish. Whilst most draft sites had Ben Simmons #1 for the last 24 months, DraftExpress had Skal Labissière #1 all pre season (lol) and for the first few months of College season even though he massively stunk it up, all because of 1 good exhibition game at Nike Hoops Summit (which he only played well because Simmons made him look good with a ton of assists, which Skal even admitted in an interview).
Then at the end of College season when most sites had Simmons still #1, DX had Ingram #1 for a few months. This was along with many other stupid decisions, like having Skal #11 and Davis #10 in their final mock draft.
For a site that's #1 priority is talent identification and draft previews, they are always way off the mark.Dr Aki wrote:

Rubbish. That's just not true. Both schools I went to did yearly yearbooks with every class represented. And it was the same for my friends schools in the area.

Then why are their mock drafts almost always the furthest off the mark?
Everyone could tell that Skal was never in #1 contention, yet they were the only ones who totally misread his talent. This continued all the way to the draft when they still had him at #11 in their final mock draft.

Either way it would be really easy for a billion dollar business to find out from the Australian government if his documents are infact forged or not.

They had him at 2nd from March until June.

I went to Aranmore and graduated a couple of years before this but I remember a Thon Maker and I know there were a lot of Makers at the school as we had quite a large Sudanese community. My friends thought it was the same person two years ago when his hoop mixtapes started popping up, but the person we remember playing soccer with us named Thon Maker was much smaller (and obviously younger at the time) so we weren't really sure and just put it down to it being a common name. I do remember the person in the picture though.

This year, maybe? And even then I'd say look at the rest of the picks. They have the best scouting around.

See link, but the biggest issues is that he isn't towering over everybody. My guess is that since both Thon and Maker are common Sudanese names, its could just someone else who has the same name.
