While he's a go-to scorer in a sense, he isn't very efficient because of the types of shots he takes. The fact that he has a good touch doesn't mean our offense is going to struggle when he's out.
On the flip side, I want to see what all of these guys can offer with Vogel at the helm and Vuc still provides an interesting skill-set as a big which is rare for people his size, and pairing him with two other bigs that finally complement his playstyle (Ibaka moreso than Biz, but you can also fit Gordon in there) means he doesn't have to be relied upon to be the anchor since we know that isn't his game.
His value can really rise because of that. Not to mention, he's a good teammate and truly wants to see our team do better. We can't flip players without vision.

I agree with all of this, except I do think we'll struggle some offensively without Nik unless Mario or Aaron step up (entirely possible). At one point late in the season during a game a stat popped up showing Vuc as the 5th or 6th best post player last year, the problem was that too little of his touches were actually IN the post. A inside/outside game with Vuc and Ibaka will work beautifully as long as Vuc is actually inside and not at 15 feet. I think Vogel is smart enough to make that happen. Skiles was completely and absolutely incompetent on the offensive end.

It sounds like he wants #8, but hasn't been able to to talk to Hezonja. I think he has the cash to pay for the # now!
