Dwyane Wade says he keeps hearing his name mentioned in trade rumors involving the Bulls and Miami Heat. Would the Bulls give up the No. 1 draft position to the Heat in exchange for Wade and the No. 2 overall selection? Or some combination of other players and picks?
"I have heard my name being talked about, and I can't worry about it," Wade said Monday at the Attack Athletics training facility on the West Side. "There is one thing in this league that you have no control over. If another organization wants you, then you should feel good to be wanted."
Wade grew up idolizing Michael Jordan while starring at Richards High School and then Marquette.
"I have a lot of history with the Bulls," Wade said. "And for them to come out with the first pick like that (with a 1.7 percent lottery chance) ... it was fitting that they would do something like that. Nobody thought that would happen. To be in that position and sit back and listen to anything and go back to a team and say: 'How about this? and 'How about that?' ... If [the Bulls] don't make any big moves like that, they're still going to have a great player."
Memphis guard Derrick Rose and Kansas State forward Michael Beasley are expected to go 1-2 in the draft.

I remember wanting to do that deal, as Wade was already a proven superstar. It would've been #1 for Wade.

I hope so!
I would start a team:
RoLo
Taj
McDermott
Jimmy
Rondo
if Rondo tries hard enough at defense. This group could hide Doug's defensive and rebounding deficiences, while Wade & Mirotic would bumslaying second units.

I think depends on his year here. If he likes it here, organization, teammates, coaching staff, being close to his family, and Bulls making deep playoff run I personally dont see Wade going back to Heat. I see him opting in another year of his contract. I think one year from now both sides will move on eventually from this phase.
But let's be real here, this is Pat move for free agency. He needs to stay with Wade on good relationship and fix it. Otherwise no market FA will come there. Loyalty is a bi*** Riley.

Wade's no saint in all this either. Riley did great damage control yesterday, though on his end. And now he has a ton of cap space next summer.

Great question. My guess is it's highly not allowed and not appropriate. I also guess it will be done and ignored by the NBA.
