For those of you that still have access to other boards, this may help keep you on them longer. I can't emphasize enough how in tune bwgood77 is with most posters and how to properly communicate moderating. Its almost like he's a Detroit Mod.

I have realized over time on the forums, since being a moderator, that many don't understand the language filter rule. While this rule may not be enforced to a great degree on all forums, because this is the biggest forum with many visitors, contributors and viewers, it comprises people of all ages, and therefore, it is enforced to ensure we don't have inappropriate language in threads.
So to clarify, if you post a word that may be questionable and post three of the letters and an asterisk (and perhaps you think this is the best way to do it to make sure you don't type the word out), then that is evading it.
If you just simply type out exactly what you want to say, the filter will do it's job and block the word out for you and I'm sure many will get the idea of what you are trying to say. But of course do not direct such language as an attack on another poster or while debating someone, because that will not be tolerated.
That is not to say using this language is appropriate, but I wanted to clarify the rule because I wanted to make sure the solid contributors here don't get a warning by accident.
The rule is outlined in the thread titled "IMPORTANT: General Board Rules Reminder", but apparently not all take the time to read that, so if you haven't that would be a good idea to take a few minutes to do.
Thanks for reading and carry on.
