But seriously. Nobody cares. NOBODY!!! I love fantasy sports. Baseball and football. But outside of the actual fantasy draft, when friends and I are drunkenly comparing rosters, I don't want to hear about your stupid f***ing team. There's nothing worse than walking into work in the morning, asking "how ya doing" and a co-worker, unprovoked, offering up information about his team. I cringe just thinking about it. While they're telling me all about some outrageous trade that went down in their baseball league, or how "Emmanuel Sanders didn't do sh*t last night because Denver's new QB..." I just sit there with this blank, obvious "I f***ing hate you" smile on my face until they're done talking. Never any follow up questions. Never volunteering any info from my multiple leagues. Why? Because they don't care about my teams! Just walk away and hope they don't want to talk about fantasy sports at lunch. Ok, rant over.

Obligatory "nobody cares about anyone's fantasy teams except their own" post.

Pointless rants like that are much more annoying and pointless than people discussing their fantasy teams in a fantasy football thread.

Yeah, I actually do care about your team and like to hear different strategies. BTW, not sure how many saw but Marshawn Lynch said he would come back if the Pat's can acquire him. If you have a throwaway roster spot, use it now.

If it's PPR, I think that's pretty fair, actually.
Considering ODB and DJ are equal in draft status...this becomes Amari vs Melvin. I take Amari 5 rounds or more before even considering Melvin. Melvin at best is sleeper or a target of Wisconsin fans who haven't learned to leave Badger RBS alone.

EXACTLY why I think this is so lopsided.
I think Melvin has a decent shot at a pretty good year and I'm a huge Bucky fan. If I'm not he's a post hype sleeper that you take a flyer on, not give value for.

Re: OT - Fantasy Football 2016
I need to stop making the mistake of having "Dead to me" players. Sometimes I get burnt on a player one year and ignore him and it kills me. CJ Anderson was my #2 back last year and I kept telling myself to think about it with Manning gone and their new offensive line but I kept thinking about how I gave him every chance last year. If it wasn't for having David Johnson and Todd Gurley, the drafting of Jamaal Charles and CJ Anderson would have been my downfall.

This post is eerily similar to every FB post I see where people are complaining that other people are talking about football in general and happy when the season ends or don't care when it starts in the first place.

So I get it, but it is like that NFL.com commercial with Cobb and Lacy riding the bike in the workout room, if friends didn't have FF what would they talk about?
I think there are a handful of guys in this thread that share info and are good at replying to questions, like Ryder, Gph, pf23, wgroove, Irish Rainbow and maybe Wisco is the other guy (sorry for those I missed). I make an effort to respond specifically to their questions because when I have questions or feedback they seem to be the ones that respond with some input or validation. So in a way, if virtual friends on a football forum didn't have FF to talk about, what would they talk about?
The worst is the guys that come on here, look for feedback and leave the rest of us responders sitting in the cold like two cent whores

JTK enjoys complaining about complainers which is loads of irony...In general I think he is a good voice on the boards but yeah, that gets tiresome

Yeah, I thought I was super bullish on Melvin and drafted him, but I view him as a low end RB2 or RB3 with upside. I'm actually starting Michael ahead of him this week.

I'm trying to decide between Jeremy Hill and DeMarco Murray as my RB2....have to start Jordy at the flex and Deangelo as my RB1. Wait and see with Langford and Derrick Henry but I expect good things from them sooner rather than later.

I'd go with Hill though I really like Murray on the year.

I would start Murray if it were up to me. I believe The Titans will be using more of a balanced attack with maybe even a little bit more emphasis on the run game to start the year. A young QB's friend is always a solid running game, so look for them to feed Murray early and often this week.

Food for thought from PFF
This isn’t the week for the Cincinnati RBs in DFS
The Jets gave up the fewest rushing yards and rushing touchdowns to opposing running backs last season. Opposing runners averaged just 3.3 yards per carry against the Jets. That’s not good for Jeremy Hill and Giovani Bernard. While the Jets aren’t the exact same defense as last year’s iteration, they’re still loaded with talent, especially in the front-seven, where they feature Muhammad Wilkerson and the ascending Leonard Williams. It’s tough to recommend either Bengals running back as anything more than a flex option this week.

It is so interesting the way the questions have been laid out on the last two pages...I'm forced to flip flop between Hill and Gordon depending on who they are being compped to, hahaah

I need to decide between either Allen Robinson or Doug Baldwin for my last WR spot. I also have the Packers D/ST so that has been making me think if I should start Baldwin against a weak Dolphins defense. Thoughts?

You have to play ARob. I think he's encroaching on getting into that tier 1 of receivers. I think more Bortles seasoning will make that happen. As much as I hate playing players against GB, I thinking Jax ends up playing from behind for most of the game forcing more air play. Thats on top of in Week 1 I think you have to play your roster as you drafted. Obviously you got ARob well before Baldy and I just don't think that changes with a sprinkle of GB bias. Who's your other WRs?

Yeah...Allen against GB would be my pick. I can see this being a shootout tomorrow. Worst case scenario Allen gets garbage stats but I don't think you'll need that.

Hill. Right? GL touches? I got Gordon late last year in a ditch effort trade to fill my bye week and he took up residence on the bench the rest of the way out. I wouldn't trust flex production from him much less RB numbers and if it is just a flex, surely you have better options even if it's only Hill facing NYJ front 7.

Not a decision. You play Robinson
