So does Noah get mad when we let Rose's contract expire?

Other than Derrick Rose himself talking about what happened. As has been said, it's been 3 years, all Rose needed to say is to alternate between "it was consensual" (when asked about whether it was consensual or not) and "I don't recall" (when asked about any details about it). But I believe he's said more than he should have.
As most every (good) lawyer would advise, no matter how much you may think it may seem like it could make you sound guilty by not talking, no matter how much good you think talking might do for you and/or your situation, no matter if you're really innocent or not...ALWAYS keep your mouth shut and lawyer up. Let the lawyers figure out what you should say or shouldn't say. It's why they get paid so much money for...regardless of how sure you are that you are innocent. This is especially true if you can afford lawyers and/or are a minority (and especially black or Hispanic) male. Don't even say "I don't know ****" cause that can be turned against you as an attempt to lie to the po po. Only things you need to say is "I need my lawyer" and "thank you". And the last part is optional and only if you want to be polite.

Did she ever file a criminal complaint over this alleged incident?
How long after the night in question did she complain to anyone of record (911, police officers, emergency room, doctor, hospital, lawyer, etc.) that she had been raped?

Re: Rose may face Criminal Charges
That said, is everybody here referring to this statement in this article?
http://sports.yahoo.com/news/lapd-confirms-theres-an-open-criminal-investigation-in-the-derrick-rose-rape-case-170306724.html
If so, that statement doesn't suggest to me that criminal charges are imminent. It just says that the LAPD is doing its job. As the plaintiff finally filed a criminal complaint two weeks ago, the LAPD has to investigate...and two weeks is not nearly long enough to finish such an investigation. No story here (yet), in my opinion.
Of course, with Rose on the witness stand (and Laurel and Hardy apparently as his defense team), I can certainly imagine multiple scenarios where he accidentally makes a full confession under oath during the civil trial--which is one of several reasons why this case needs to be settled quickly.
This note is to clarify any misconception that the Los Angeles Police Department does not have a current and open criminal investigation pending that names the same suspects as the defendants in the current civil case being handled by your office (Case No. CV 15-7503-MWF (JCx). When filing the crime report, the victim in this case exercised her right to confidentiality as outlined in California Penal Code section 293.5. (a). Her identity will continue to remain confidential throughout the criminal investigation being handled by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Totally agree with you both. I just wish if this woman is caught lying about the whole case just for money, they throw the book at her. I'm tired of seeing people manipulate the system for their own selfish goals while real victims end up being scrutinized & ignored.

Don't they need physical evidence for it to be a criminal case? I thought the whole reason y she filed a civil case was because of the lack of evidence. Idk it seems like she wants to pressure him to pay her and get this over with already.

And that might happen.. if this gets noisy.. Adam Silver will step in and pressure rose and the Knicks to end this.. He doesn't want NBA to look bad.

This Cosby case is setting a precedent where women can come back years later and claim rape. Meanwhile, unless she went to a hospital after the incident, there will likely be no physical evidence available to convict beyond a reasonable doubt or to fully exonerate.

The accuser's ex roommate and co-worker has said that this lawsuit is sham to extort money from Rose and supposedly there are text messages that support this. Plus, no physical evidence. The criminal case is going nowhere. If I'm Rose, I hold tight and not give in. This case is not a vocabulary test, it's about whether he raped this woman. A very serious charge.

Roses low IQ is making this extra unsettling. It actually makes it more difficult to parse out what happened. I mean who doesn't understand the meaning of the word "consent"? This is so messy and his stupidity is not only making it more difficult to establish intent, but could also result in criminal proceedings even if he didn't force himself on her.

Ignorant perhaps, not necessarily stupid. The word consent might not come up in his everyday conversation. And like many young people nowadays he might not be a big reader. But whatever you want to call it, It definitely makes him a target to be manipulated into a bad situation

Well there are street smart people who would not be called literate. But even if he is functionally illiterate his judgment still comes into play and it sounds like it is lacking.
Though I don't see how he could not have been prepared for the meaning of the word consent by his counsel considering it is probably the one word guaranteed to come up in proceedings. If they did not discuss it with him that is practically malpractice. It does sound like he has terrible representation for this case
But even counsel can't hide a client's ignorance when they say stuff like hey we're men. It is basically like putting your neck on the guillotine and saying off with my head please
