Ainge gotta go..
It's just that losing one of Young or Hunter for nothing, or a 2nd, is a tough blow. They've gotta keep Young, IMO- Hunter is a really interesting prospect as a late 1st, with size and real shooting ability, but Young is younger and probably has more upside. Hunter is a Stevens guy, though.
I'm the opposite. I can't see Young ever being more than an 8th or 9th man off the bench.
I could see RJ being a 6th man on a good team, perhaps even a starter one day. Just has a more complete game. Needs to put on size and strength, but his awareness on both ends of the floor is just much better than Young to me.
Young has surprised me in these last few pre season games but he is just missing 'it'. Too blase, casual and not enough fire. Jogs up and down the court. Stands still when he doesn't have the ball. Telegraphs his passes. Can only go left. But that's just me.
One day Marcus Smart will be defensive player of the year, mark my words.
