Well there goes that idea.
If Dallas appears to be in playoff contention this would be a good move. If Dallas is in contention for a lotto pick I want to keep Barnes and make him first option on offense and play him 40 minutes a game.Pinkyring wrote:My hope is to get barnes playing well then move him to Sacramento for rudy gay

He's not a bad defender either. I could be great for all parties involved. Perhaps the Mavs is able to show case Wes to land them Noel. And they can two capable starters at 2 and 3 after that. Putting 4 players who can't create off dribble together is a pretty bad idea. I expect the Mavs to struggle if they continue to do that. From the preseason game, it's that simply. The opponent team makes DWill a shooter instead of distributor. And the Mavs is forced to post up Dirk and burn his legs with inefficient shooting percentage. However, his percentage is still better than the rest of starting lineup. That's a serious problem. I expect JJ to start at 2 with Curry being a rotation backup combo guard.

If he keeps playing this way, he's not even better than Durant-Finley-Smith. Should we just play him because he makes 24M per?
