Haven't been around for a while. Just getting caught up on everything that's been posted and here are my thoughts on everything Suns....
If Knight can embrace his role as the 6th man, he can do well. If he's continuing to complain about his role and yadda yadda then he will not do well and that trade will become a huge net loss (more than it already is). If he does well, we could deal him to a contending team this year at the deadline and get a 1st back for him and I'd be fine with that.
I've been of the opinion that Bledsoe has the talent to be good but can't stay healthy or hasn't had the drive to do it. This year however, he has the keys, it is his team. He is stepping into a role where is a leader on this team and I have a feeling Tyson is helping him step into that role. If he can stay healthy and put up 15-20ppg, 7ast, 5-7reb, and less than 5TO a game, he is going to re-establish himself as a solid PG in the league. I don't know if he becomes great, but at this point, we aren't expecting him to become the future of this franchise, that title belongs to Booker.
Len has been disappointing to say the least. I've always had high hopes for Len, but not high expectations. I think if we can sign him for less than (preferably) or right around 10Mil/year for 2-3 years, I say we do it.
Chandler has performed well this year. He's rebounding again, he had I think like 3 alley-oops last night. I think he looks good. If he can keep up that production while being the veteran presence along with Dudley, that contract we signed him to looks good imo.
Every Time I watch Booker play, I love him more and more. He still has some decision making kinks to work out and he needs some more presence late in games if he's going to be taking the final shots, but overall he looks good and McD's best addition imo.
I've always LOVED TJ Warren. My stomach churned when a year or two ago everyone had given up on him and wanted him gone. I'm glad that with PJ out he was given the chance to start and is making the most of it. He can score from anywhere on the floor in just about any way possible. He has a unique set of offensive moves and types of shots that shows him as a pure scorer. If he has the ball, he can find a way to score however creative it is. His 15 foot teardrop type shot is almost impossible to defend.
The rooks just need time. Chriss looks good and Bender just needs to find a small role to fill on this team for the time being while his skills develop. If we just use him strictly as a stretch four that can rebound a bit on defense, he can help this team while his skills are being honed. I do not think that Ulis should be playing more than like 5-10 min a game right now. He has shown flashes of what he can do but he is still learning as well. If him and Booker can develop a tandem like in the MyCareer mode in 2K17 with the Pres and Justice Young(if you've played the game you know what I mean), that's best case scenario. I don't see him as the PG of the future but a good backup PG with some playmaking abilities and energy.
Sorry for the long post but a lot of things I needed to catch up on.
@bwgood I got your personal message and tried to reply to you but it said I can't cause i just created my account (which is weird..) but I've been super busy with a lot of things and will hopefully be able to contribute more in the near future.
