Yes and no.
Hardcore Sixers fans are aware of him hitting about 60-70% of his 3 point shots in some of his practice sessions over a decent volume of shots.
Having said that, not everyone can translate that into in-game shooting so it is a big surprise in terms of how quickly it has happened.
He still hasn't shot a huge volume and I don't expect him to keep up his present efficiency out there but just the threat of him out there will give team's headaches. With his size and ability to finish above the rim, contested mid-range and open 3's he's going to kill teams once he learns how to set better picks.
