My guys to follow in terms of sleepers so far, mixed box;
Gary Clark, a jumpshot away of been a really nice do-it all 4, his presence is everywhere for Cincy
Charles Cooke, quick, active hands, can really shoot+7 feet wingspan
KJ Lawson, Dedric's brother, looks much more confident on his shooting so far, has always been a better athlete than his younger brother, long, bouncy.
Rodney Bullock, lacks feel but can move and catch fire from 3, feels like a natural shooter but the numbers have never been strong, they are so far.
Davon Reed, another 3&D prototype wing, defensively has everything you want, not many mistakes.
Vince Edwards, super disciplined, can do a bit of everything offensively, not a scorer but a solid role player at the combo-F, reminds me of a better passing Darius Miller
Matt Jones, I like Matt Jones, he is not as quick as Sulaimon but clearly smarter, can play some on-ball also, really like his all around D.
Amile Jefferson, another guy I am a fan off, outstanding IQ and will go to war for any ball, can't shoot it but that's workable, he's old and thin, but gonna be better than McAdoo and he's in the league.
Robert Johnson, similar to Matt Jones but a tad smaller, can be more of a playmaker, gotta say that I think he comes back to IU.
Juwan Morgan, def coming back but has shown some niftiness, liked his passing skills too, intrigued.
DJ Wilson, haven't seen more than highlights but trusting reanimator here.
Manu Lecomte, damn is Baylor fan, Lecomte biggest reason so far, he is tiny but has similar skills to Shane Larkin, probably would make more money in Europe right away, he's from Belgium, if the passing keeps up watch out, always been a superb shooter.
Jo Lual-Acuil Jr., where the heck did this guy come from? my gosh is he fun, he's everywhere, reminds of DDiop first year as a Mav, not as bulky in terms of build, but he shoots 3s.
Semi Ojeleye, old ex-dukie playing for SMU, hitting shots now, always has been a tank in terms of his body type, he's a PF clearly at the next level, gotta keep evaluating because the shooting is important in his case.
Taurean Thompson, playmaking PF in the mold of the THarris/MMorris/JMartin, smooth, offensively gifted, has moves, plays under control, doubt he declares, but the guy is damn talented.
Frank Howard, another Cuse guy, thought he was no more than a defensive specialist but he has shown more, his size for the position is great and if he can shoot, at least that's something.
Justin Jackson-Maryland, similarly to Ojeleye all bets are off if he hits his jumpers, another smallball 4, built like a tank, explosive, old for his class so he might make the jump.
London Perrantes, I think he can be more than what he is for UV, never gonna be a supercreative passer, he is steady, but good shooter and has some more creativity in the PnR than what he has shown at UV.
Wenyen Gabriel, didnt know much about him, he isnt a combo-f, barely a big, more C than SF in any case, can shoot it some, has shown good feel, not advanced passes, but extra-pass, keep the ball moving stuff, and plays hard, there is a role for him.
Dazon Ingram, liked him last year already until the injury, in the mold of the combination Guards that can make it without needing too much ball and bring extra length for the position, super young.
PJ Dozier, similar to Ingram in that sense.
Matisse Thybulle, Fultz's sidekick, funky athlete with length and shooting ability, kind of thin and not much of a creator.
Chris Boucher, if he's gonna shoot 3s like this he has legit unicorn potential.
Tyler Hall, lights out shooter and only a sophmore, has some size for playing the 1 eventually, superyoung also, just turned 19 kind of.
Jessie Govan, talked about him last year, has shown some on the move ability, can absorbe contact and finish with his touch, sweet jumper, not much of a profile defensively, but as a 2nd round type big not that much of a deal.
Eric Paschall, Nova back-up frontcourt guy, similar to Jenkins but bigger and with more upside do to athleticism and handles.
Bryant Crawford, turnovers are down so far, assists are up and his physical profile is as enticing.
Ted Kapita, got to watch him for 1st time ever the other day, was trying to check on Dennis and he jumps, literally, out of the screen, he's more or less what people want Bam Adebayo to be, freaking elite athlete for his size and bulk.
Eric Vila, nobody is gonna talk about him and with reason so far, but I know him from Spain, A&M frosh, up an inch and around 6'11 now, rail thin but mobile and athletic, can shoot, can switch and defend any position 2-4, good feel for the game, needs to tough up and add mass, but better prospect at the same age than Juancho.
Robert Williams, another A&M guy that I've never seen and got to watch trying to catch up on EVila, he tried two 3s that surprised me, killed the boards, productive player.
Zach Collins&Killian Tillie, had Gonzaga 1st due to their depth, these guys have been even better than expected, just damn advanced offensively for their age, Collins is huge and turned 19 yesterday basically, Tillie is more athletic, both really mobile and can pass, the Zags are loaded.
Too early to put some other names that have barely played 1-2 games, others like Frankie Hughes have no shot this year due to the volume of Guards, and as frosh they are gonna still be too inconsistent, always liked Reid Travis who has started on fire, but he doesnt shot and is not really a guy that produces blocks-steals while been an undersized big.
Has anybody seen Marcus LoVett from the Johnnies?
