I suppose the standards have been lowered enough.

I want the Suns to look good.. Even if they lose... I want to see a team that has potential, a team that competes... This team is packed of players playing for their own stats and phoning in games.

IMO Warren is not ready to play too many minutes for now. He is just getting fully healthy..probably in less than a week he can start for us again.

The suns being a high tempo team but amongst the poorest assists teams is clear evidence of selfish plays and players trying to do their own thing.

It comes down to the coach as well, he is allowing it too happen. He doesn't play Ullis at all who is the best distributor on the team.
He also doesn't have an offensive system from what I can tell.

You have no idea how low the standards are right now. Len is near the bottom with Knight which is quite sad. What a waste.

The thing is, VERY few trades go down until near the trade deadline because people are only going to put all the chips on the table when they are up against the deadline. Also, more teams will know if they are aiming for the playoffs or developing young players at that point.

The thing is, I don't know how beneficial it is to hold out for too long with someone like Knight or Tucker. Obviously if you can get a first round pick it's worth it, but who knows if you can?

It was a mistake to hold out for a 2nd rounder for Archie, cutting Troy Williams, who now starts for the current 5 seed Grizzlies who have been missing Conley for a while.

I don't know that getting a slightly better deal is that worth it, but the opposing teams that might be interested in PJ and Knight or anyone else are likely checking out other team's players as well and seeing if they can be had for cheaper. There are just too many reasons for both sides to wait until the last minute. For the Suns, as far as the season goes, they might think what do they have to lose? But they could be losing out on any additional development that may occur if actual playing time helps with that. Also, the fan base needs a big injection of life right now, even if it's just seeing a rookie play more. I don't think anyone these days is buying tickets to go see Knight or Tucker play. They might be excited to go see Ulis and Bender play though, even if they struggle. They have certainly both shown flashes of excitement.
