Four years is enough time to put a decent team on the court with plenty of upside, but the Suns are one of the worst teams in the league like when he took the job in 2013.
Dont agree with this, Look at where we 4 years ago compared to now.
Roster 4 Years ago
Dragic, Morris Twins, Tucker, Beasley, Shannon Brown, Dudley, Gortat, W. Johsnon, Marshall, Scola, J. O Neal, Telfair. GARBAGE TREADMILL CRAP
Roster Now
Bledsoe, Booker, Warren, Len, Knight, Chandler, Bender, Chriss, Dudley, Tucker.
Add the Miami picks as well, we are in a way better shape. Sure he has made some mistakes ( Knight/Laker pick trade) .
He has tried to get that star FA - Eric Gordon/Aldridge/Lebron...so its not via lack of trying.
We are going in the right direction. The only thing we have not done is add that Superstar he wants, but **** that aint an easy task.
I suppose im not as angry because i was not expecting a quick rebuild.
I think that I overrated our current roster a lot. I thought that this year's roster was good enough to be competitive and get over 40 wins, but I was wrong.
If you look closely that 2012-2013 roster it is not worse than our current roster. An starting five with Dragic, Dudley, Marcus, Markieff and Gortat is probably better than the starting five that we have four years later. Dragic and Gortat are not worse than Bledsoe and Chandler, that's obvious to me.
The big difference between that team and our actual roster are Chriss and Bender, they have upside.
BUT they are raw as hell and can be a bust or good players, but we are not going to know nothing for sure until probably 2020 because they are just 19 years old and they lack a ton of skills/experience/strength.
I am a little bit pessimistic today because our play the last four or five games has been near unwatchable...I expect to gain some hope in the next few games.
