The less talent you have offensively, you're usually better trying to slow it down because fewer possessions is more likely to make the game closer and give you a chance of getting lucky and winning. Trying to run and gun against Houston and beat them in their own game while undermanned did not make sense.GuyverX wrote:Did they really let Houston score 140? Wow.
Sure, Houston was also pretty non-existent on defense and gave up 116 pts / 112.5 Drtg to the Clippers, but the Clippers basically couldn't even defend. Interesting game, Felton and DJ made it interesting, but if you're going to have a 103 possession game when undermanned you're likely to get beat handily.
