I still think before it's said and done Josh Hart will be a mid first rounder. He's going to make some team very happy.

In the same vein, Sindarius Thornwell has a BPM of 16.8 through 9 games with a PER of 31.8.

He's still playing out of his mind since his return from suspension. Definitely a guy to keep an eye on.

Kinda reminds me of Okafor in some ways. Not locked in defensively and in love with inefficient long 2s

he looks like a blackhole, and his handles need work and he doesn't look all that athletic, and he looks a bit stiff...

but apparently everyone loves him as a prospect. He certainly has the measurables and people say his game is tailor-made for the nba...we'll see

Watching Kansas/Oklahoma. Announcers quoting Kansas coaching staff-- Josh Jackson has a competitive KG type streak and has completely transformed the team's attitude in the weight room -- where he is a beast."

I don't see Sixers finishing in the top 3, maybe luck out and win the lottery (hopefully a handshake deal with the Commish for bringing in JC, we get two No.1s in a row). Say we get the 6th(ours) and Lakers pick at 7. I don't have time to follow college basketball, do we still get a good winger and pg at those slots?

A representative from each lottery team is present for the draw and they have a list of the 1000 combinations and the team who gets each combination. As the ping pong balls are being drawn, they can see which team has that combination. Members of the media are also present. There is no way they can rig it. Youtube nba lottery draw.

Oh I know, was just saying. Cleveland got 2 no.1 picks in a row so that can happen for us.

Extremely lucky and I am still annoyed about that. Only thing that would annoy me more would be Boston getting the next two. :banghead:

This draft is probably tbe deepest draft for the guard position in years and maybe deepest since 03.

I've been on the bandwagon for Devonte Graham for awhile. A lot of people like Juwan Evans. I have a thing for WVU's Jevon Carter. 3:1 assist to turnover ratio, combined with twice as many steals as turnovers.

I really like 6'6" Malcolm Hill, out of Illinois, as well.

A little off the radar, I kinda dig my streetballers, Shamorie Ponds (St. Johns/NYC), JaQuan Newton (UMiami/Philly).

Love this draft for us!

Shake Milton (SMU) is another one. 6'6-6'7 PG/SG that has elite vision. Huge wingspan. I'd love to take a chance on him.

This is a worthy draft for which to tank, and it seems like the Sixers are willing to screw it up by winning games. I'm now in tank mode so Sergio and Henderson need to be starting. The Sixers should be willing to do whatever needs to be done to expedite them getting back on the floor ASAP. All of the top college PGs will be going top 6 IMO. Fultz, Ball, Smith, and Fox. This is no time to let TJ and Ersan play the Sixers into reduced lottery balls.

We will be in the top 6. We aren't going to win anymore than 25 games or so.

Jonathan Isaac stifled Jayson Tatum on more than one occasion last night. I question Isaac's ceiling. But I do think he will be a good player for a long time because of his defense. I think Isaac plays more like Myles Turner than Brandon Ingram--with Isaac being a slightly better ballhandler, while Turner has just a little more girth.

As for Tatum, I'm cooling off just a little. Haven't looked at the numbers, but the last few games it looks like he doesnt finish in traffic very well. I don't think he's more athletic than TJ Leaf by much, if at all.

Still, Tatum's ballhandling and defense are far better than I expected. The way Duke has him bringing the ball up suggests he could play all the wing positions.

I hear you. I was just like you for the last 3 years. I hated wins. I rooted for losses. I'm probably the most hardcore root for losses guy over the last 3 years. In fact you can take probably out. I am the most hardcore root for losses guy. That all changed when we got Simmons though. Tanking is all about getting a star or stars. We had Embiid and I was very high on him but wanted to keep tanking because he was injured. Then we got Okafor and I wanted to keep tanking because I didn't think he was the other star. Then we got Simmons. Now I root for wins. I no longer root for losses. I realize we need one more piece who is a guard though but I don't think we will win enough to miss out on a good player. Let's say we pick 8th. Not great right? But there's a good chance someone like Fox or Smith Jr could be there. Someone good will be there. I don't think the gap in talent falls significantly from 1 to 8. We will be fine.

Smith has been playing well recently, seems unlikely he'll be available at 8. Fox would be a terrible fit. Hopefully the Sixers can at least come away with one of Ball, Fultz, Monk, or Smith. I don't know what to think of Ntilikina yet.

I root for the long term pieces to play well and am annoyed when the 30 year old mercenaries gun us to a win.
