After suffering a challenging, 115-107 loss to Milwaukee, Ezeli, in street clothes, addressed the team in the locker room with a stern speech centered on playing with urgency, sources told ESPN. Then two games later, after a crushing defeat in Memphis, Ezeli once again started giving a team speech, but he was cut short.

McCollum interrupted Ezeli in midsentence and told him that was enough, sources told ESPN. Portland was in the midst of an emotionally draining December, losing 11 of 13 games. Players were desperately pouring out every ounce of effort trying to change the trajectory of the season, and being lectured by someone who wasn’t even playing wasn’t received favorably.

Geeze that's rough. I wonder who's idea it was to have him addressing the group. He should never have been in that situation. I can't see him putting his hand up to do that, so it must have been one of the coaches. Poor player and team management, and Festus gets burned. I feel bad for him, but don't blame McCollum or the group either.

Apparently that's exactly what happened - Festus started piping up on his own, not provoked by coaches, and was shut down the second time. And I can't say that I blame McCollum or others from telling him to put a sock in it.
If I don't have anything funny to say, can I still have a signature?

If that was the case, sit your ass down Festus FFS. Just cause you played a minor role in a championship, doesn't give you the cred to pipe up to your team mates whatsoever, especially when your ass may never play again.

If you guys haven't watched him yet, there's a 16yr old coming through the junior ranks that is the next coming of Charles Barkley. Name is Zion Williamson.

The kid is a complete athletic freak for his overly wide and fat ass.

When I saw that last night I tought it'd be a huge issue today, guess no one cares about the Knicks by January.

Refs are calling out Cuban for his intimidation and threats. It will be interesting to see what the reaction of the league is. Cuban has been doing this since becoming owner of the Mavs. It's hard to watch a home game in Dallas, it seems the main agenda by everyone is to attack the refs over every call against the Mavs.

If I were a ref, I would go out of my way to call more fouls on them.

Paul out up to 8 weeks, puts even more of a damper on their season. Even when 100% healthy, the Clippers don't strike fear in me as a Warrior fan.

Well they've handled the Spurs pretty well in two games.

So you can't count them out, especially if there's a key injury. Their bench has been putting up a lot of points, especially Speights.

Last year, Warriors fans probably felt confident about matching up with the Thunder in the playoffs since they'd swept the regular season (and also the previous regular season). So they had a winning streak comparable to the one they have against the Clippers.

Then the Warriors barely escaped an upset.

Can I just say thanks for not being absolute toolbags to us?

I've spent a little time on /r/Warriors lately and it really makes me appreciate the folks here that much more.

No problem at all. I appreciate when other teams fans come here and just talk basketball, or engage in fun stuff. What I don't like is if fans from other teams come here and tell us what we all need to think.

I've gone to your board in the past, and it seems a bit slow over there. So feel free to come here often and give your imput and hang out. Seriously all good from my stand point.

On that note, I have issues at the Knick board. I've said some real positive things about a few of their guys, and of course the typical tools over there just love to tell others to get the eff out.

Oh and our mods are great here. Very tolerant and funny. Always good insights from them.

Knicks board is almost its own forum.

And yeah, y'all have a good mod team. FNQ's been a regular on the trade forum lately and it's really been appreciated.

I tell you 1 player who is super disappointing to watch, and that's John Henson. He has such unique length and a really athletic frame with footwork to boot on defence, but just continues to underwhelm.

he had a nice stretch when Kidd initially inserted him into the starting 5, but his usual disappearing act struck once more
