Embiid hyper extends his knee and people say to shut him down for the game when he looked fine. Come on people. Someone even went so far to say he shouldn't play in the all star game if he's selected. I get it. He lands awkwardly. He does need to learn to land better. Hopefully he will. Maybe he never does. Who knows. Bottom line is people need to stop asking for him to be babied. If he gets hurt he gets hurt. You can't just sit him every time he gets knicked up.
you still need to differentiate. if he falls, he falls. but today it was the most akward looking occasion this season. so im pretty fine with the coaches to be cautious with our TOP5 HALL OF FAME kinda talent in a pretty meaningless game. if he's fine too in two days im up for him playing the next game. im also probably in the minority of people that think, he should already play back to backs...but if he hyperextends his knee 2 times in one game in a very short period, i think you are crazy to take that risk, based alone on the judgement of an immature, overeager competetive player. its just for his best, and embiid is for sure aware of it, when the heat of the moment is gone.
