Or you can have fun trading their first rounder; they traded their 2016 pick and Crowder for Rondo.

Damnit, Cousins. Concentrate on the little details. Sac had a 7-point lead in OT and it's down to 1 with GS having the ball. SMH.

If they lose, it's because Sac just stopped moving the ball. They had every opportunity to win....

Damn lucky to have won that. The Cousins iso over and over again is as painful to watch as the Wittman-era John Wall iso to end quarters.

Looked like the Kings were trying to kill clock. Their crunch time lineup is pretty meh offensively (Matt Barnes, Tolliver, Collison, and Affalo) but all of them including Cousins played good defense. Still, showed that Cousins cat be effective and unselfish at times as he had 9 assists (but 7 turnovers) although would be better suited on a team with more talent. But fatigue looked to be getting the best of Cousins at times granted it was an OT game.

Anyways, it appears like Cousins is a player that you can with it but not exactly sure why the Kings have not been able to get more talent around him. I suppose they had Isiah Thomas hose playing style didn't mesh with Cousins, although Thomas didn't mesh well with Bledose and Dragic either, the latter ended up requesting a trade from Phoenix.

The cruel irony is that now that it's "our turn" finally, we don't have the bench to make our move. We could push steal it with a better bench.

I totally disagree.

People who root for Washington such as yourself are used to being so negative. I believe this team can go to the NBA finals even with the bench it has now

Imagine if this team had a somewhat competitive second unit.

Oubre and Satoransky both are getting much better. Smith is very solid. Many of the teams recent victories have been fueled by strong bench play.

I always thought Ferrell was better than Romelo Trimble from watching them matchup in MD vs IU games.

TGW you are a Cousins hater.

From yahoo sports:

A night after recording his sixth career triple-double, Cousins had 12 rebounds and nine assists to just miss another. This win could provide some much-needed momentum for Sacramento, in a stretch with 11 of 13 home games.

You guys, I have been right about Cousins all along. He is a superior player who shows his haters the error in their ways

Paul Pierce's final game in the Boston Garden (as a member of the Clips).

Feels.

Much respect to #34, who'll be inducted into the Hall of Fame as a Celtic.

Do I understand that Cousins had a good game? Two good games in a row?

How about his numbers on the season?

He's a terrific defensive rebounder this year, as he usually is, but a below-average offensive rebounder. Overall, his rebounding is down @10% from his average. If you look at the combination of rebounds, steals & turnovers, Cousins is just slightly better overall than the average of all NBA bigs.

His TS% this year is 56.3% -- that's up from his career average of 53.1%. The average of all NBA bigs is at 54.5%. So this year unlike most years, he's a more efficient scorer than an average NBA big.

Cousins gets @ 10% more blocks than an average NBA big; as well he commits about 10% more fouls. Where he is definitely superior is in assists -- he gets more than twice the assists of an average NBA big.

The result of all this is that overall this year, he has a slightly greater positive effect on team wins than an average NBA big. Emphasis on the word "slightly."

As they say the proof is in the pudding, & so far this year, led by DeMarcus Cousins the Kings are 20-31. That's 1.5 games better than the Philadelphia 76ers and not as good as the Dallas Mavericks, Denver Nuggets, Orlando Magic, Miami Heat, & New York Knicks -- to mention just a few of the bad NBA teams that are better than the Kings.

Every year, Sacramento changes the guys around Cousins, & every year the team is bad. I wonder at what point people will understood that, far from being a monster, DeMarcus Cousins -- for all his tremendous talent -- is simply not all that good an NBA player? I guess it'll take him moving to another team & showing the same....

Porzingis has just fell off a cliff lately. Not sure what's happening to him.

The way I see Scott Brooks developing Oubre, I wonder if 'zingis is getting the type of coaching and support he needs to improve. In a related way, I wonder how much Kwame, NIck Young, and JaVale could have benefitted from Brooks coaching them.

But even when he plays well, he gives haters more ammunition. He pushed one of the Chicago coaches right in the middle of the court during a break in play. I'm assuming he'll get suspended for that. There are just too many classless incidents with him.

If I was Miami, I'd be mad about going from Fultz/Jackson/Smith down to Tatum/Monk/Fox

Return to Washington Wizards
