If he could ever get close to Millsap. Oh my lord. I was thinking Diaw.

I'm telling you guys, go back and look at all the write ups on Derrick Williams. It's scary. I hope someone makes us an offer for this kid before the truth comes out

Who cares if he busts? He wasn't the second pick of the draft.

Oh it's not like it will sink or swim the entire franchise but if we can flip him for some value while his perceived value is high I'd be all for it, I just don't see this guy as a productive NBA player

I know some of the people on this board are outstanding scouts and therefore experts on Yabusele, but I confess I am not. And I am not certain about you, either, Homer.
I have seen enough of Yabs to know I want the Cs to keep him and see what exactly they have got. If he can actually bring a lot back in a trade, I want to keep him that much more. That means other professional scouts see something in him that I see when I look at his clips.
The only reason to trade him is if the Cs to agree with Homer and think Yabs likely a bust, a brain-fart draft pick like Fab Melo. Then dump him for whatever you can get.
I have seen no indication that the Cs or anyone who actually scouted Yabs professionally shares Homer's assessment. But if the Cs do dump him for garbage, then indeed Homer's assessment will be the correct one. I hope you are wrong, Homer, but I can't write with your authority and certainty on the matter.

I hope I'm wrong too, I think it was a panic pick to be honest. Ainge wanted Hernangomez and Denver scooped him up right before we picked. Of course I want Yabs to succeed but I just don't see it I'm sorry.

No need to apologize; this board invites speculation. I have trouble buying the notion that Ainge was caught with his pants down when Denver took Hernangomez. That is not at all how I understand draft rooms work, and Ainge strikes me like the Godfather at the end of G1, always overprepared if anything. The team does a ton of prep and is ready for just about anything. Do you have any legit actual evidence to back up this claim that Danny was winging it on draft night once he was allegedly shocked by the Denver pick? Or are you just following a premonition, like the one you have about Yabs?

Minus the **** conditioning and the laissez-faire attitude. Yabs looks funny in a basketball uniform, but he is lean, strong and agile. Bennett is none of those things.
