No, it's because he is one of the worst defenders in the league and although people think he is great offensively, he shoots 42% and 35% from 3. As you can see on the chart, he still rates on the slight positive offensively, which is slightly ahead of the back (left to right)...with Jokic and Towns WAY out ahead, but he is by FAR the worst defender as a sophomore, where most are right around average...Myles Turner at the top there.

No, I don't think it has that big of correlation. He is not THAT far behind everyone else defensively because of the team. I am not sure the measure he uses for DPS (defensive poinst saved) but our players are all over that chart when you look at just the Suns chart. There are other terrible defensive teams and no one is near that low. I mean you look at DRPM, Booker is near the bottom...not all Suns are.

He may be closer to his initial comparison of Bradley Beal than we thought.
I'll look into how the stat was made. I just find singling out defensive stats so hard.
