I think you're misunderstanding how tanking is executed. You make it sound like we can't be tanking because our head coach and players aren't actively trying to lose basketball games. That's not how it works. If you look at what our FO has been doing, rather than our team, it's incredibly obvious that they aren't trying to maximize our record this season.
As for the Simmons situation, with how little information/hard evidence you have, forming any kind of hard opinion on the subject is foolish. It's plausible that you're right, but it's also 100% plausible that Simmons re-aggravated the injury, especially when you look at our medical staff's history of incompetence(not to mention that Simmons specific injury can be a complicated one to heal). Maybe you should take a deep breath and put down the pitchfork? Let this thing play out a bit before you declare it a conspiracy?
Also, gtfo with that "I'm his biggest supporter" BS. When you truly support someone, you don't just turn on them so easily without a shred of evidence.

I mean I was his biggest supporter when haters on my board and elsewhere claimed he was overrated. I've argued all along that he is truly a generational player and he along with Embid, Saric and your upcoming draft picks will make you the team to beat after the Lebron era. But no more. I don't have proof but there's enough smoke starting with the rumors of him choosing to sit out because of his injury, the reports he was healing just fine, him putting up videos of working out and claiming he's close...to know there's fire. It all points to him putting on a show so fans don't hate on him. You can choose to keep your head in the sand if you want. You aren't alone. imo it's easier for you and others to hate on the owner or G.M. because you so badly want to root for Simmons and desperately need him to be part of you getting back to the playoffs.
I just won't defend him knowing he orchestrated this whole thing. If I was a PHI fan maybe I would give him the benefit of the doubt because hell, you have no choice. You either do that or accept he's a fraud and never root for him personally. Of course you'll choose to believe this nonsense. Critics pointed to his lack of effort and care while at LSU and I reasoned that he felt trapped and forced to go to college when he didn't need to and didn't want to reward the NCAA system with his presence in the tournament. It was selfish but I understood the reasons. This is selfish just for the sake of accolades and money so he can earn Rookie of the Year. Ask yourself this. Why would someone make up that rumor about him sitting out the whole year. What person or organization would benefit from putting out a supposedly fake rumor? It came out because it was leaked. Someone in the know let everyone know the kind of person he was. They even rumored that the rehab and healing would keep getting extended until the season was so far along it was believable they'd shut him down for good. And people laughed! And now it came true and people still don't believe it. WTF?
