Never said they were.
Melo is a better defensive player at PF as we all know. Lopez, Wilson and Lee are all good defensive players.
Real talk, if Melo is traded you still repping the Knicks right?

You got an issue?
All the KP's are hilarious though.
i would love to see some of these teams to hear people complain that ewing won't pass to kp

Having a sniper from three is a no brainer for me, as well as having a versatile defender who can score for the low cost.
KP and Ewing swatting everything in the paint would be such a beauty to see.
Prime Jax was such a sweet floor general if time wasn't a factor you literally couldn't pair a better center then Ewing to go with KP I can't believe he was 2$. And I know people will say Hakeem was better but Ewing was made for NY, the dream was much more reserved swagger wise.
Definitely, although as much as I enjoyed Ewing, I'd take Dream over him anyday. Dream on the Knicks might actually have beaten Jordan( just my opinion of course)The key to this exercise is being able to properly spend, and while there are some overpays on this list (H20 and Melo) and the reason I say this is because neither can be your best player, there are some bargains and KP is certainly one of them. You can get nearly 20 points a few blocks from a 2 dollar guy.

I thought they would be a horrible pairing. Ewing needed a facilitating slasher. And **** a Derrick Rose. I got me some Spre.
Capn'O wrote:These numbers are juked. How the hell do they give you Mase for only a dollar?! Dude could guard your best player 3-5. Lock you down if you weren't Hakeem or Shaq and even still would give a better cover than even Pat. Play a little point forward. Developed a nice little post game. Easy pick.
Pat - $5
Mase - $1
Spree - $4
Lee - $2
Ray - $2
And I'll save my last dollar for a Snickers bar.

They were a Charles Smith layup or dunk away from doing it with Pat. Why not?

Sometimes it's where you meet as well, and it might not have had to be that close. Dream gave everything Ewing did, but was just a better player.

I would rather have Starks over Melo. Heart and defense over chucking. KP and Ewing is a great front court. The euros bring the shooting. Nate is Nate. Would be a hell of a fun team.
