There are endless "could" or "should be able to" scenarios you can throw out about him changing his game but until it actually happens you can't expect it. Reggie hasn't shown one shred of evidence of becoming someone different on the court even through his struggles this season. If he's playing it's not going to be in an off-ball or combo facet. Jackson is going to dominate the ball as much as he can.

If that privilege is taken away from him by coaching leadership he has no choice but to play off ball some and maybe have the offense run through him off the bench. It's just like demoting someone at any other job. I don't see how Reggie has any leverage especially considering it's likely nobody else will give him a starting job in the NBA at this point.

Yet until anybody sees that actually happen it can't be expected to go like that. Reggie played the same way in Oklahoma City when he was in a similar role that you're promoting. I don't think much is going to change with him going forward.

When you hear Isiah talk about what he learned being the PG on a championship team, and stress the need of the PG to adjust and sacrifice their own game to the team's needs, it just seems inevitable. RJ doesn't seem capable of taking this tact. You have to wonder if this is even possible, sadly.

Did we suck last year, when he was healthy?? NO!

Canadafan wrote:RJ probably was and is our most talented player. Tobias is probably closest. RJ last year was as close to a 20ppg player as we've got. Nobody else other than Tobias can be that guy. Drummond KCP Marcus and hopefully SJ are guys that get you around 15ppg.
Mr 4th quarter was awesome last year. I believe he can become that guy again

if mr 4th quarter last year played defense, maybe we wouldn't have needed so much his clutchness in certain games.

Gores, Van Bower and the other leaders in the office will review the season, opt to rehab the value of certain players first and we'll roll out:
Dre, Jon, Bobo
Mook, King, 2nd rounder
SJ, Harris, Hilliard
KCP, Rookie, Benji
RJ, Ish, Ray

This is a depressing post man. My heart can't take it.Canadafan wrote:"Mr 4th quarter"
This person never existed. Reggie saved his job with just enough big shots to get by last year. He has the consistency of a 6th man and has never been a reliable quality PG at any time! 6th/7th man he should be!
