Yea I'm on the Tatum or trade pick train.

Fox is redundant with Payton here and already showing a lot of promise and potential.

I would touch Issac with a 10 ft pole

Everyone else seems a reach unless someone drops to us. I would be fielding calls for a package centered around Fournier + #5 and filler.

I disagree with you comparing Fox with Payton. Fox is a lot more relentless, and can get to the rim at will and finish at every angle with each hand. He's more similar to John Wall/Prime Derek Rose. Plus, if you watched him during the tournament you'd realize he's a much more capable jumpshooter than Payton. That I feel like is a bit overblown...

For me he's the 2nd option if this team doesn't draft Dennis Smith Jr.

I don't want a "capable" shooter with pick 5/6 at point guard. Can we get some skill on this roster and stop settling for "capable"?

The most likely outcome is the Magic draft 6th (36%). There is only a ~1/4 the Magic stay at 5. Indeed it is statistically more likely the Magic draft top-3 (29.1%). There is a less than 10% chance the Magic draft 7 (or 8).

The final odds for the Magic winning the lottery AND the Lakers falling out of the draft is a shade under 6%. Something like 1 in 17. That's the dream scenario for Magic fans.

Jackson and Tatum fit this "capable" meaning, I assume, you favor Isaac at SF.

What is Isaac's nba skill at SF? Inability to drive left or inability to finish through contact?

Sadly, yes. Philly deserves Tatum. They went full tank mode the last half of the season. Our coach is all about "good Karma" and didn't have the balls to do it. We don't deserve Tatum.

What is Isaac's nba skill at SF?

This question is self-answered but the topic: Isaac is a lights-out jump shooter and projects to be exactly what the Magic need at the SF slot (on offense). He also plays hard and can defend. If Isaac becomes a 2-5 from the three-ball game in and game out, a 12 ppg scoring line is fine.

Magic already have drivers in Payton and Gordon. What the team needs is perimeter scoring from the SG and SF posts.

The Cavs, Raptors, Jazz, and Clippers are all tied for their draft slot.

Because shooting 34,8% at college level from 3 point line is definition of lights out shooting. By same standards Winslow was about to become new Curry with his 41% for 3 at college level. That went well... oh ..wait...

Who was that shooting at 1:12? That's embarrassing.

Yes. That's by far the best scenario.
I'm cheering for Philly as well as us. If Philly gets two picks it may really set them up (depending on health.) They could add some kind of combination of Fultz / Monk or Tatum / Monk, etc... and really add some perimeter scoring around Simmons and Embiid.

As for us, it sets us up better also as we obviously would then get the '19 LAL pick. We need a perimeter scorer like Fultz just as much, if not more, of course.
