Same, dude only starting getting love after that dunk contest. Overrated IMO

Dunn + LaVine

Josh Jackson (assuming their pick, so if Jackson not your liking, other?) + Value
Value= Covington (small ball 4?) or Oak (can Thibs teach him D?) and/or TLC
Wolves get a defensive SF next to Wiggins...and with their pick draft BPA (but probably a PFOF). Also means Thibs would have 2 rookies on staff, so....
Philly of all teams shouldn't discount LaVine much (injury), and they really liked Dunn at 2016 draft time, and they both seemingly are perfect backcourt duo with Simmons.

Would much rather do Dunn and our pick for Philly's pick and Covington. I wouldn't be in any hurry to trade LaVine right now as his value is low due to the injury. I think he will come back well from the injury even if he loses some of his vertical explosiveness. Let him return to form and if we can't carve out a role for him with Wiggins then we move one closer to the deadline next season

I'd do that and run

I know the general feeling is that Wiggins is untouchable, but I wonder if Thibs is starting to get fed up with his defense. He's started to make vague comments about it, so at what point does he say enough is enough?

Rubio (33) / Jones (15)
LaVine (35) / Wiggins (13)
Wiggins (23) / Johnson (19) / Isaac (6)
KAT (25) / Isaac (15) / Casspi (8)
Dieng (30) / KAT (10) / J.Allen (8)
A lot of positional versatility, and lots of ability to cover for or make room for the rooks depending on how they progress. They remain super young as well - no forfeiting assets for win-now players that may or may not work out.

Dunn for Stanley Johnson + 12.
Draft Isaac and J.Allen.Rubio (33) / Jones (15)

Wiggins (23) / Johnson (19) / Isaac (6)

Imo, I would move early with Dunn.. I do love what he brings to the table, but when you can address so many points of need whilst freeing Tyus up for more minutes, I think it's the right move. If Dunn's been more effective at SG lately, even more reason to move him - no room in the rotation with Wiggins and LaVine both ideally at SG (if you intend to keep both).
Referencing this particular trade idea, I think Johnson is a great addition - perfect Thibs character kid, he's a dog, and imo he just needs a change of scenery.. he had a great rookie year. Isaac is who I think you should take at 7 regardless of any trades.. perfect fit if you want to run with KAT at the 5 and go small - he'll stretch the floor, run with the rest of your athletes, and be a versatile defender at the 4. If you want to go big, J.Allen is the shotblocker that can shift KAT to the 4.
Lots of defensive upside, frees up Jones, provides an SF replacement for Shabazz that can help push Wiggins down to SG a bit more, provides options run lineups with KAT at the 4 and 5, and gives you multiple young, high upside guys to continue to grow with.
Thoughts?

Leaves enough $$ to make a max offer to Gordon Hayward and pray he accepts. Though I'd bet he ends up back home in indy.

If he is bad fit with high tempo run-and-gun team DEN. with best С passer in Jokic, I wonder how he would look with our system. I suppose he would be awful.
What if
Payne, Aldrich for Evan Turner and #18 pick. Not sure if we can unload Pek contract as well. Draft long-term projects Isaiah Hartenstein, OG or Jarrett Allen.
We replace Shabazz who can't pass, defend and shoot with Turner who is decent passer and defender. Still wont solve our shooting problems tho'. But maybe LaVine, Jones, Bjelica shooting will be enough for 2nd unit. At least they should be able to provide some ball movement in offense.
KAT/Dieng
FA/Bjelica/OG
Wiggins/Turner/OG
Dunn/LaVine/Wiggins
Rubio/Jones/Dunn

On FA market can be much more cheaper and better options. (Taker, Ingles)
In this way will be better to take Caroll from Raps shorter contract better fit for the team.
If all because of the OG, it's not the price (Turner contract) for the prospect at a young team.
For Turners money we can bring Iggy for 2 or 3 years.
