We never have proof of anything. But if he did pull a Paul George I wouldn't be surprised.

Agreed, Im just saying the title of this thread says he cheated as if its fact.

I don't condone cheating, but it is common, and many times, the partner will never find out. I'm sure it's absolutely rampant among celebrities and athletes.

Knocking up another woman is f*cked up though. It's just humiliating and disrespectful thing to do. Not to mention, he could have unknowingly passed on some disease to La La. Cheating is being human, but this is next-level sh*t...it's not having basic human decency.

On what planet is cheating being "human"? WTF?

This planet. To procreate is to be human. Marriage is a religious ideology. Not a "human" one, lol.

maybe when melos gone, his nutrider faction, who only came when he did, will finally die, and it can finally be about the Knicks again.

Its apparent since ive been told repeatedly in this forum alone, "who gives a **** about the Knicks" and "its only a kids game" , that they can support a man who came to this organization, with bad intentions, knowing he would never be able to compete, doing it mainly for his wifes B-List celebrity status, but not without taking a nice payday for the eventual settlement, and not caring about all the other people he played and worked with, or giving a crap about whats best for the fans. GTFO.

get lost nutriders this is a KNICKS forum, not some celebrity gossip site....

Union has a show in which she stars in and has a really good following.

LaLa plays a broke hair dresser in Power and the mother of Ronnie in New Edition story.

LaLa's career was resurrected when Melo came to New York. He did that for her so she would be happy. From the outside looking maybe things started wearing him down, the losing, the war with Phil, he wanted to compete but risked losing his family in the process(he always spoke about his son) and then he alledgely made a bad decision that he has to live with.

Also another point.

But for some of you to use this to continue to push your agenda(not you Coach or K P 6) to want him gone shows how low you really are. Can you just either exit the thread or at least understand that a mans life is in shambles here. Where's the human decency? Empathy? Or even sympathy?

Why is everything always about your agendas?

The amazing ramifications of Melo's greed.

No.

Stop the nonsense. We didn't have the cash for Melo unless he took a huge pay cut.

basketball is more than a kids game and its also more than a business. a lot more to it than those things.

You're trying to jump in and steer this conversation somewhere else.

The NBA is built off the concept of a kids game, that's what this conversation is about.

At the end of the day as a FAN there is no reason why anyone should be losing sleep over a kids game they do not control nor affect the outcome on-court.

his and his wifes selfishness effected the lives of the players he played with, the coaches he never listened too, the GMs that he ran out, and the fans that believed in him. It may be derived from a kids game, but it gainfully employs 10s of thousands of people. and entertains millions more.... its about all their lives, and how not one player should be above all of that. just stop, your the only person trying to spin it.

ive been watching all brands of sports for 35 years, never have i seen one players relationship move above his teammates, his coaches, and the whole organization. you have takin melo nut ridin to a whole new level. you dont bring your personal life to work at my level, and you certainly dont do it at their level. he came here for the wrong reasons, and it cost us the most...

First off chill with the nut riding ****, fu*k outta here you don't know me enough to be talking to me like that.

Second we don't know what goes on in & out of that locker room or organization. If you want to take rumor & Hersey as your proof despite players enjoying playing with him and not one saying anything negative about him go ahead. If you want to somehow place blame on him for GM's leaving, not a coach but a GM, go ahead.

So again if you lose sleep over that that's on you, a kids game that employs thousands is still a kids game. If you want to start worrying about the inner workings of an basketball association you're not even employed at, that's on you. Me personally I got bills to pay, stopping to think of the entertained millions because a basketball player is a good scorer and was given power because of that, is the least of my concern.

Melo's life is in shambles?! Let's do the math.

Two child support payments coming though. 50k × 12 months = 600k

600k × 18 years = $10.8 million

So half of his salary in one year covers his child support...and you think he's in shambles? Failed marriage and gets to try again later if he feels like it. Why does he deserve any sympathy or empathy? There's people out there that are much more deserving of that. He should have pulled out. And he should have divorced lala. Nothing tragic happened, you live and you learn.

What are you talking about? Figuring Turiaf took his 4.3 mil option, we picked up Danillo and Wilson's options, and we let everyone walk, that would have left us around 40mil in salary. Cap was 58 mil. Melo could have signed here for 18 mil a year instead of 19.5. That is figuring we don't even move anyone, which we could have easily done.

We would have had Amar'e, Felton, Turiaf, Gallo, Mozgov, and Bill Walker under salary with the option to match Wilson. And room to sign Melo.

Melo wanted his guaranteed money before the lockout, that is why he forced the trade. We could have easily paid him whatever he wanted in the offseason, and kept all our assets.
