Tell me, if Allen Crabbe earned $10m more per season when he was already considered overpaid would his contract be considered tradable? Because KCP will earn $27m per year at the max and Crabbe actually shot 44% from the 3pt line this season and had similar stats per 36.
I love how people will blindly try to defend players and the best compliments they come up with is "gives 100% effort", "is a competitor" and "a professional". Players don't deserve to get paid or played if they don't produce plain and simple. Leading by example only works when that player can actually back it up which neither KCP or Morris can claim to do.

I am not defending anyone, I am stating the facts
If we do not sign KCP we will not be able to replace him with a player half as good, even if he is not worth the max
Therefore, our best option (since we are already capped out) is to sign KCP with hopes we can move him down the line
What would we do if we let KCP walk? Again no one can answer this question. Everyone says NOT to re-sign KCP and i was in that party until i looked at our cap sheet and realized it was our only option
Someone please give me an idea. Are we going to tank with a fully capped out roster?
Are we going to replace KCP with a rookie? with Bullock? with a MLE signing?
And again you keep talking about Morris being such a terrible player. He outplayed Leuer who is making 3x as much. Id say that is a pretty big accomplishment in our garbage dump of a season. yet everyone hates on Mook 24/7, it's really quite pathetic
If i was on the Pistons I would love to have Mook on the team, and from all the games I went to and from all that ive seen at those games, it seems like 90% of our roster really loves the guy.
So his teammates like him, he is the lowest paid player on the roster except for Ellenson and Stanley, and he puts up decent stats while playing nearly every game of the season (79 games, 33 minutes a game)
If we have a better option than Mook at PF let me know. Seems to me like unless we win the lottery we have absolutely no chance of acquiring a solid PF.
What people are failing to understand is Gores is not going to hit the reset button at least for another 2 years. He already shelled out all that money and he will continue to do it since he already is knee deep with Reggie/Dre/Tobias all signed to big deals. Meanwhile Leuer and Boban are making 20M a year for the next 3 seasons. If anything one or both of them need to be traded (using your logic) since they didnt contribute last season even if it was SVG's fault that Boban didnt play.
But yeh we should trade Mook because he is SOOOO bad and KCP we should let him walk for nothing and tank. Oh wait that's right we have a maxed out PG and C, unless we sit them for 80% of the games we cant tank.
So since we cant tank, we might as well re-sign KCP and retain our asset for feature trades. This isnt a case of not signing Monroe when he clearly didnt want to be here and made that obvious many times in the media.
When someone gives me tangible evidence that trading Mook and letting KCP walk is better for our franchise, then ill stop posting.
Maybe we can package Leuer, Stanley, and Boban for a quality PF and then move Mook to the bench. Or is Mook at 4M still too expensive to be coming off the bench?? His deal is 1M more than Stanley Johnsons rookie deal but he is such a detriment to our team and cap space.
Thanks for the laughs guys i really needed it!
