You got my meaning. The two wings of Bradley and Crowder defend well, but after that it is light's out bad. Godawful defense from the bigs, no rim protection, poor defense rebounding. And IT as perhaps the single worst defender in the NBA waiting to be abused. The lowest score the Wiz have had in regulation this series is 111.

Now, the Wiz have a nice team to be sure, but Atlanta held them to 98, 101, and 103 in three of the six games.

Yeah, I am still stewing over last series. For sure we would just be Wiz meat now, but Boston was so beatable.

OK, onto the current series ... Wall's passing has been very impressive. It is a reminder that Butler is best served as the second playmaker, as Beal is with the Wiz. Well Butler is a bit better than Beal in playmaking, but he's nowhere near Wall. If God could drop a scoring/playmaking PG on this team to match with Butler as a scorer/second playmaker/defender, it wouldn't take much to be as good as any Eastern team that doesn't have LeBron. Two shooters, RoLo, maybe an athletic 3&&&D small forward, that would do it.

Calling CP3 ...

He should be killing Ryan Anderson.

I've learned a long time ago to never question the Spurs.

For what it's worth, DraftExpress said Murray should have gone in the 20-40 range for a team seeking high potential with a player who was "likely years away from helping an NBA team."

Yeah I was just reading some of his scouting report. I'll just say he landed in the right spot.

It would be very hard for me to pass on an athletic point guard with great athleticism like Murray. I would've taken him over Valentine.

I am a bit surprised he fell that far, but at the same time, the whole draft outcome was a weird one.

Spurs was the perfect spot for him - had the talent, just needed to find his niche, develop good habits, and refine his skills.

He hasn't done much in his rookie season out of circumstance, but I feel pretty confident he's the future PG of the Spurs long term.

Do you think he's their future point guard once Tony Parker is done (or leaves)?

these playoffs have been trash. I blame the new style of play and the huge disparity of talent between the warriors/cavs and everyone else.

It's mostly disparity of talent.

I think either of the Spurs or Rockets could beat the Cavs.

Cavs are damn lucky they play cup cakes in the East.

The Wiz might give the Cavs problems. I mean, we shall see, but they should have swept this series, up double digits every game. They do struggle at times defensively but Wall & Beal are dynamic, and they can rebound. But yeah, the East is still working at given LBJ a legitimate challenge.

the last few years i have seen series where both teams get hot from deep on different nights resulting in blowouts. Even saw it in the finals. For me it is becoming a trend that brings about :sleep2:

Butler was hurt from game 3 and never recovered he lost his speed and a lot of mobility I think we still should of won that series regardless next year I expect him to either go up another level or get traded .........I see the rockets and spurs and think these spurs could definitely come out the east and also no one is challenging the warriors this year not even close I see them able to sweep every single team without needing huge games from there stars which they have a lot of lol

When it comes to postseason play.

NHL >>>> NBA

I have to say, flipping channels in the playoffs, one is fast moving and intense, one is waiting for July for the predetermined matchup.

This replay system is just holding up the game more than before.

That's wild. They must have the green light in an effort to clean up the game. Big picture, probably a good thing because dirty players can often get away with stuff when nobody is looking. Now everyone is looking.

Why that was not done with the Celtics, don't know.

Yeah, Olynyk is one slick bastard. I ended up checking the NBA Replay guidelines and I saw where the refs can arbitrarily review any play they deem as an altercation even if no flagrant or foul was called or no fists were thrown.

Wow. Thanks for checking.

Seems like big picture a good idea but the arbitrary checks are going to make people go hmm.
