Unless it's for LeBron, Durant, or Kwahi your not getting equal value for Giannis. His potential for growth and improvement is too great

Re: A Trade For Giannis Antetokounmpo
personally i think the only team that can make a trade like this happen without lose their best player is Golden State Warriors.
they can trade Draymond Green + Klay thompson for Giannis.
And then they will have a team with Steph Curry, KD and Giannis, still a scary team to play against. not bad i guess

If I were Milw-nothing, except Towns and Minny's #1 (which Thibs would not do).
Brown and both BRK picks-while a GREAT package, does not do it, even if it is Fultz

Re: A Trade For Giannis Antetokounmpo
I think it's easier to just list the players that a team wouldn't trade for Giannis.
KAT
LeBron - simply because they could win championships now
Steph - same
Is there anyone else on the list? Maybe Kawhi?

So you would pretty much give them anything they want. Not sure I agree. This year's draft could be legendary, and next year's draft looks to be very strong as well. Giannis is obviously amazing, but you would have two chances to find the next dominant guy, in two strong drafts. Not sure I would be willing to give that up, especially with another high potential asset going out.
We already know what Giannis is going to become. People are valuing these picks way too high. Yeah they're up there when it comes to valuable assets, but the keyword is "chance". I'd rather bank my future on Giannis than bank on a "potential" legendary draft class. To me Giannis is more valuable. We heard about all these "legendary" draft classes since 2003 and never once has it happen yet...
You need to look at the 2008 and 2009 drafts. A lot of studs and a lot of starters throughout

You could have Powell, but you would need to throw in some picks

I thought about Anthony Davis, but now that they have Boogie, I think they might go Giannis.
Durant is much better, but older and will squeeze an extra $10 mil from a very tight payroll. He's also not the face of the franchise after one injury-plagued year, but he can be a key to winning multiple championships.
But you're right - those two are possible. I may be over-shooting here too. The elites of the league are so far to one side of the bell curve, that even with Giannis potential, how likely is it that he ultimately becomes as good as, say, Durant? That's a high bar.

Also, I think it's important to remember the question:
This is "what would you give?" and not "what would MIL accept?"
When you are talking about franchise players like this, they have a lot of additional value to their home teams, because of fan interest and marketing. Asset valuation is subjective. MIN might not trade KAT for Giannis, but MIL might not accept KAT for Giannis either. The way the question is written is not to find a trade that works for both parties, despite the thread title. I don't think there is a single player that MIL would take straight up for Giannis right now.

Good point my friend. and you are right on this. probably the milwaukee bucks will not trade Giannis for anyone.
it's not about if Milwaukee accept the trade. it's more about to see how much value Giannis has now for the fans after his amazing season.

No i disagree with that. you can be a fan of a player without supporting his team. is not about the team anyway, is about the player.

LeBron is the most valuable trade asset in the league despite his age. He means instant contention.

well, lebron is 32-33 years old. He is the best player on the planet but after 2-3 years probably he will not be. and ofc when you value a player you have to count his age too.
